Best hockey game ever?
I have only played it once or twice since I have owned it (for a few years now) but it has consistently been displayed on top of my tv or my entertainment center due to one fact. Eric Lindros was the greatest hockey player in the history of the sport and he was nice enough to stop dominating every other player in the history of hockey long enough for EA to take a picture of him to put on the cover of this game.
The fact that Lindros is on the cover would make you think this game would sell for upwards of 500 dollars. But, due to the fact that this game is almost a decade old I found the game for 2 dollars. After fighting with the other 25 people in the store also trying to buy the only copy of this game I managed to buy it and display it proudly.
The game is actually still enjoyable if you feel the urge for some old school video game hockey. Plus how can you really be disappointed with anything that cost 2 dollars?
