NHL 2K9

Ok but i dont reccomend this game if NHL 09 is an option...

Ok this game has good Graphics and good fighting and it has the 'replay' system but so does NHL 09. The game is fun, but fun like NHL 2004. NHL 09 takes you to the next level. NHL 2K9 is pretty much the same but has a MUCH worse deking system. The fighting is advanced which is pretty cool but the old school fighting system was still great.
The Replay system isnt as great its more confusing and you have to save the whole replay. In 09 you have a choice of what you record. Now alot of you probally wont need the replay system. But the Graphics are great on this game. This is what i belive seperates this from the prior NHL titles. But if you look at replays then in slow motiont he sound is off and the puck doesnt touch the goalie or the players when they hit another player. This game still has the feature of shooting with your Right Stick but you can do a wrist shot and a slapshot only. You cannot deke. I thought the ability to deke was very creative. This games only 20 bucks so you can tell its quality. If you dont have money you should buy this but if you can spare 50 bucks get NHL 09.

  Well, if your deciding whether to get 2k9 or nhl09 get 09! This is broke and the only plus is the fighting scheme.

  the back of the case says "the FUN is back" First off its buggy the graphics to the older versions are far better, faces are poorly done, look at danny brieres face in the game, he looks like Kwazi Moto from the hunc... Read Full Review
