Great game but left out some flavor..
The minus - Graphics were an improvement but seeing what EA and other game companies can do, 2k could have done a hell of a lot better on this though there are some nice things to look at like equipment and such. Some crap animations here and there like the snow angel. Could use a few more realistic shooting and skating animations. Checking really needs to be fixed. They said they toned it down but it seems worse than previous years. Slap shots are held for way too long. More tuck in jersey options could be nice but thats just being too picky. Only 5 create a team jerseys to pick from? I thought CAT was DEEP this year..Crappy looking faces in CAP and no facial hair or hair options.
The Plus - Game has a great flow to it. New goalies look superb but do let in bad goals. Pro Stick works wonderfully since you can control the stick and skate and the same time. Pro stick on defense works great as well. Superstar moves are a nice addition, a little more options would be nice though. Skating is nice and fluid as always. Wrist shots are a lot more effective and work perfectly. Menus are easy to navigate in. Franchise additions make it really deep and fun to play around with.
There may be a lot of minus but that may be me being picky. This game is still fun to play around with, just hope 2k gets it right next year..60 price tag is right for video games..
