Doesn't fix the problems from past years and adds some new ones.
The 'Live the Life' option is supposed to be realistic in that, as a third-liner, you shouldn't expect to play the whole game. Except that the AI is so terrible that you'd better stay on the ice the whole time - your team won't score and your goalie is a sieve, so you'd better score on pretty much all of your shifts.
The Be A GM mode is mostly the same as last year, with trades that aren't justified and crippling punishments for failing to make a deal with a team.
The faceoff mechanic is sketchy at best, the players' speed is all off (how is Tyler Myers beating a loaf of bread to the puck, let alone Nazem Kadri?) and the shooting is all over the map.
If you have NHL 13, keep it. Don't buy this.
