An idea for GM mode (offline)

So as hockey is not in session right now, however close it may be to returning, I'be been following whl mostly but chl as a whole.
So my idea is a team of mostly 18 and 19 year olds a few 20 maybe.. Kinda WJC style just not completely.
Now the issue.. Someone like Yakupov no longer on the Sting but now I can't find him opinion any league. Am I missing something completely?
Maybe I'm crazy but I thought I looked everywhere, any help?

Side note: I will not make players that are in the game. So creating Yakupov no. Creating someone like Trouba yes totally willing.

Edit: I am going off of Player Movement from the main menu.

I'm not too worried about Yakupov but it's hard to find any good russian players that I know I could trade for however I don't want to really do that. Oh well I'll leave that as it is.

The next annoying thing is American players. All the university players are not in the game. Damn.

I am Canadian and I do like a lot of the players but damn do I not want all of them to be there lol. I'll keep at it tonight. Feel free to suggest some players.
I'm doing AHL and NHL team. I'll be Toronto and whatever player (prospect) I take I give back to there NHL team. So Scheifele from Jets they got Lupul in return, Dougie Hamilton from Boston they received Gardiner... so on and so forth.

Edit: If you are to suggest players please keep in mind they do need to be 18. Players like Seth Jones Nathan Mackinnon not an option as I get the "underage" message.
