Playing NHL 10 has been enjoyable for me. I have mainly played offline. Both "Be A Pro" mode and "Be A GM" mode are what I play most. The game is easy to get into and just play if you're not looking for long term, more in depth gameplay. Some flaws or things I would like improved are: In "Be A Pro" mode you can't really negotiate your contracts. I'm in my 1st year of my second contract and at the end of my previous contract I was only offered 3 contracts by 3 teams and all I could do was choose one. It doesn't allow you to negotiate number of years or the actual salary. Also, in the stats categories it doesn't state which team you were with for each different year you played hockey, just the year and other stats (goals, assists, etc.) I'm not sure what NHL 11 has to offer but all I know is that this year EA hasn't advertised their NHL game like they did for NHL 10. Some games coming out might be paste and copy with a few little add ons because of the recession year and the lower sales of games. Anyways if you don't want to go all out and spend more money on a brand new game, NHL 10 will serve its purpose of just getting together with friends and having fun. I'm not sure if EA is continueing its roster updates for NHL 10 but there were a few available. Happy gaming!
