NHL 09 On the Spot (08/14/08) Demo

Ehm, why wouldn't the PC-version be just as good? The PC has the most controllers out there, including PlayStation- and XBOX-controllers. Even IF you'd stick to just keys (maybe plus a mouse), things can still work. But don't act like it just shouldn't be as good because the basic controller is the keyboard (plus mouse). And an old and bad habit that is, for the keyboard-part anyway. Just buy a controller, they're not thát expensive, there are many alternatives and probably ones that might suit your hands better too. I use a keyboard to type words and symbols with, period.

Look at "Also on" briedizz And you'll see if it's on PC.

yea i dont blame EA sports to have their pc version not as well, its kinda hard to turn two 360 degree thumbsticks into keys on a keyboard or mouse directions. im guessing Sundin is on the Waivers.. thats usually how it works.

i'm pretty sure everyone that's looking at buying this is buying it for be a pro, i'm 100% on the updateable rosters deal, i mean they've been doing that since nhl06 maybe earlyer (nhl06 was the first game i played online back in the day), why stop now?

im buying this not only for the picture of dion phanuf and cause im a huge fan of him but im buying this for the be a pro mode or whatever it was called cause this game just looks awesome but im wondering if its gonna have updateable team stats for this year

Of course X360 version will be fantastic (just like 08 was). Too bad the PC version has been completely neglected for the past few years. You'd think developing the same version simultaneously for PC and X360 would be relatively easy, but for EA Sports, the PC version is an afterthought.

Here's hoping the PC version is at least as good as EASports breadbasket console versions. Be A Pro (superstar) will be a welcome addition to the NHL franchise, and here's hoping for cross platform play in the EASHL (pc + 360) sometime in the near future.

That is SO sick I can play on the Rangers and verse Avengaurd Omsk which is in the Russian league and has Jagr (Rangers captain last year) and their own top prospect Alexei Cherepanov!!! Now THAT is awesome!

I am so excited, I cna't express how excited I am for this game. I have dreamed about a hockey game with Be a Pro and Online created leagues for the last 10 years, I am glad my dream has finally became a reality or almost a reality.

Also if the online isn't fixed, I will blow a gasket! I haven't been able to play a game for 3 months because I get the face-off glitch at the start of each game!

I hear yeah ohjtbehaaave. Playing NHL 08 was like a dream, it couldn't believe how realistic it was aside from all the online problems, then one day I got in a fight and was like wtf was that!

Can't wait for NHL 09. And I want to see the new Fighting engine and it better not suck!
