Maybe the "deck" was a little harsh. I had great expectations going into this game. While it was quite disappointing, I would have to say it was also enjoyable. Some of the more enjoyable aspects to me was getting your coach created and picking the team you interview with. Then you will take the phone interview. The questioning was pretty easy as it should be for anyone who actually purchases this game knowing what the game is all about. After the interview the offers roll in. I actually got an offer from the team I interviewed with.(Tampa Bay) They also were the ones who offered the most money. I also enjoy the conversation interfaces with the personnell. For the most part, I believe it does a good job simulating the feeling of really being in charge.The draft was fun as well. A little long but that could be because I just wanted to get to the good stuff of watching my team take the field. It took me 3-4 hours of playing to get to the draft. Once at the draft the other teams have 30-40 seconds I believe on the clock. So in actuality, the draft flowed pretty well. You will still get 5 minutes. The commentary during the draft was excellent. The training camp session (where I'm at now) is pretty good as well. A little frustrating with getting your QB to perform. But that could be that I have Chris Simms and Brodie Croyle at the helm against the 1st string Tampa D. Oh well, I'll work on it this weekend. All in all, if you enjoy Fantasy Football and find yourself ordering Direct TV only for the NFL ticket you should enjoy this game. Just stick with it and give yourself time. It is an adjustment from the norm.
