Just like everyone says: this game has great potential, but it's a little too repetitive and bland.

While in the office, be prepared to spend roughly 1/3 of your time watching load-up screens. That amounts to literally hours of staring at the same dozen quotes over and over while you wait 30-45 seconds each time for something to load up. And the real kicker is, you often don't even *want to do* the thing that's loading, you just *have to do it*. You have little choice. It's not that I don't like the game. It's just very frustrating. Why do I have to actually spend an hour going through the boring practices, just to make sure my team has some "money plays" for game day? Why do tutorial/info screens still pop up for the most elementary tasks (e.g., what you can do in your office), even when I've been playing for over 30 hours? Why is it that when I compliment my players or coaches, they get mad at me? Why couldn't they come up with more than 12 or 13 quotes (especially considering how frequently you see the quotes)? Why is the font for the stats so absurdly large, making player/team comparisons a very laborious task? Why do they have the business side so fragmented, so that you have to be in special pre-set periods to trade people, re-sign people, sign free agents, etc. (and this period costs you a practice session, even though you're just sitting in your office for a couple hours a week doing basically nothing). And that doesn't even begin to go over the actual game day. Why does my safety (when he catches an INT) utilize blockers better than my running back? When there is a huge hole to run through, why do players seem to instinctively find the only opponent around, and run into him? Why does my quaterback take 12 sacks a game, and when I try to fix this by telling him to throw it away ("force it if you have to"), he then throws 6 INT's a game? Ok, that last one might have to do with having a sub-par QB, but the point is, this game has some major issues.

Again, it's not that I don't like the game. But I can't imagine it having much replay value... if I can muster the patience to reach the goals they set, I very much doubt I could ever give it another go. This game is worth a shot if you like both business sims and sports, it's sort of an attempt at both. But if you are willing to put 50 hours into this game, I would definately rent it. Trust me, you might get enough satisfaction here and there to keep the experience from being a total loss, but you'll never want to spend another 50 hours of your life playing it again.
