Xtreme Sports for the Game Boy Color
Infogrames North America plans to release a sports title for the Game Boy Color.
Infogrames North America announced today that it is publishing Xtreme Sports for the Game Boy Color. WayForward Technologies is developing the title, which will let gamers surf, skyboard, street luge, and in-line skate. You will play as either Guppi or Fin and compete against more than 200 others on 25 unique tracks. The game will feature two gameplay modes - the practice mode and the Xtreme Island adventure mode. In the practice mode, 15 challenges with three difficulty settings will be available. The Xtreme Island adventure mode lets players compete against opponents, collect medals, and progress through a story.
"Xtreme Sports will get the adrenaline pumping for Game Boy gamers this summer," said Laddie Ervin, director of marketing for sports and racing titles at Infogrames North America "From skysurfing to skateboarding to street luge, Xtreme Sports will challenge even the most devoted sports addict."
