Xbox 360 US sales hit 281,000 in January

So they sold that many.  I guess 20% of 281k boxes is 56k have issue like the RROD. Replace, Replace, Replace, fuck I get a ps3 instead. No more replacing xbox, no more wasted time waiting, no more visisting the post office often(hey at least we are helping the Post Office Worker, yay). Shit, why don't they do a better QA instead?  Don't worry, M$ have mucho money to spare.  I suggest to everyone, wait until 1-2 years before SONY, M$, Nintendo put any systems out.  Otherwise, you might piss off your pants and visit the POST OFFICE.

Sony fanboys love denial. The simple facts are MS has 44% of the console market and sells more games and accessories than Sony or Nintendo combined so in the end MS wins by a large margine. On top of that the only way sony is going to make any profits this yr is because they sold their head quarters here in the U.S. They are bleeding money and haven't made shit in yrs and even if they did it would be a lot less than what MS makes.

if you guys are so happy with your ps3 then why is it that if you look at game/console numbers the 360 blows both the ps3 and wii away so if your so happy with it buy some games..  i own all and have a total of 6 ps3 games and over a hundred 360 games but i have a hacked wii with over 500 wii games its my wifes but its not worth it to hack my 550$ ps3 paperweight and i play way to much on my 360 to even consider it mostly online so it would defeat my purpose i dont need my wii online so its cool besides i have games all the way back to the orginal donkey kong i recommend everyone to hack their wiis its pretty cool to rent or borrow a game download it and its yours  

Well the next gen xbox will not sell as well not with the crap kinect being forced on to people. At least the buyers will have a nice shiny paperweight.

Technically PS3 outsold the 360, overall, last year. They finally surpassed Xbox sales in December 2012. And supposedly Wii outsold them both. Supposedly.

Seems like nothing is gonna outsell the xbox. 

People like obsequies click on this topic, which is about the success of the 360, just to hate on it. It's funny, I guess some folks have to focus their negative energy somewhere,

lol reporting monthly us sales for the 360 in the US is about as pointless as reporting monthly sales of the ps3 in japan come oooonnnn. In fact its even less pointless as The US don't even have another competitor. The only thing that really matters then are Global Sales and the 360 is a loser. MAC RULES!

Hard to believe a consoel released in 2005 is still able to run 90% of multiplatform games at better frame rates and resolutions than their PS3 counterparts even though ps3 was released a year late.

Even when Microsoft releases the 720 this year, the 360 will still be selling more than the Wii U. Nintendo owes us an apology in the form of a real kick ass system for the next next gen... if they can hold on that long.

Funny how quickly (mostly from loyalists and some gaming media sites) jump to praise those numbers in the US alone, and yet ignore how hard has been for Microsoft to penetrate other markets ever since it launched.
