WWE Crush Hour ships
THQ ships the GameCube and PS2 versions of its WWE-endorsed vehicular combat game to stores in North America.
THQ has today shipped the GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions of WWE Crush Hour to stores in North America. The vehicular combat game allows players to participate in a number of different wrestling-inspired events from the driver's seats of more than 30 fantasy vehicles based on WWE superstars.
"WWE Crush Hour is a fun and exciting new twist to sports entertainment," said Phillip Holt, vice president, product development, THQ. "We've given WWE fans everywhere the opportunity to get behind the wheel as one of 30 of their favorite WWE superstars to wreak havoc on their opponents."
Fantasy vehicles in the game include Hulk Hogan's fire-red sports car, Brock Lesner's armored truck, The Rock's luxury sports car, and Stone Cold Steve Austin's jacked-up monster truck. Players will be able to destroy their enemies using a number of different weapons and power-ups, and they can even taunt opposing drivers using the signature phrases of their favorite WWE wrestler.
