World of Warcraft beta begins
The beta test for Blizzard's highly anticipated online game has begun!
Blizzard has announced that the closed beta test for its upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game, World of Warcraft, has begun for those testers that were selected to participate. The beta is currently focusing on the "Alliance" (namely, the playable races of human, dwarf, gnome, and night elf), and will allow any classes playable by those races, including the mage, paladin, priest, rogue, warlock, or warrior. Later on, Blizzard will add the races of "the Horde" to the beta, including the trolls, orcs, taurens, and undead.
World of Warcraft will be a massively multiplayer game based on the colorful fantasy setting of Warcraft, which originally appeared in Blizzard's real-time strategy series.
