World Cyber Games grand final set in South Korea
Event to be held at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center this December.
While we know what games will be played in the upcoming World Cyber Games 2011, there was no word about where the host city would be for the event's grand final. Recently, World Cyber Games Inc. announced that Busan Metropolitan City, South Korea, will be the WCG 2011 Grand Final host town. The event will be held at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (or "BEXCO," for short) this December. Tae-Gun Seo, president of Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, stated that this event will give "Busan a great chance to grow as a gaming mecca."
The last time a World Cyber Games grand final event was held in South Korea was in 2003 in Olympic Park, Seoul. The WCG 2011 Grand Final will be held from December 8 to December 11.
