@Xizle Sorry mate, I was a little shocked myself at the unprecedented luck! I'll try to write as detailed an account as possible of the event in my blog as a consoloation
Win a trip to see the Nintendo 3DS in Amsterdam
Enter Nintendo's competition to join GameSpot UK at the press-only 3DS showcase in Amsterdam.
When the Nintendo 3DS debuted at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo and GameSpot staff first got their desperate, grasping mitts on the device, the universal response was: "This needs to be seen to be believed." The 3DS was the star of the show, but the glasses-free stereoscopic 3D effect was tricky to convey to those who hadn't experienced it. And though the 3DS was first announced back in March, British gamers have still got a wait on their hands; we won't see it until March 2011. For one lucky UK-based winner, though, the wait will be over much sooner.
You could win a trip for you and a friend to attend Nintendo's press-only 3DS showcase event in Amsterdam on January 19, with all your travel and accommodations provided by Nintendo. To enter, you need to write a short (up to 200 words) review of any Nintendo game released in 2010 on your GameSpot user blog--the blog attached to your GameSpot username, which looks like this.
Send a link to the review on your GameSpot user blog to competitions@gamespot.co.uk before December 31, along with your full name, address, and phone number. We'll draw a winner on January 4. If you win, Nintendo will ask you to write about your experience of the event and the 3DS in your GameSpot user blog. In the interest of full disclosure, you'll need to mention that Nintendo paid for your trip. You and your guest need to be 18 or over, and you need to be UK residents. Good luck!
