Nintendo readies two bundles for the holiday season; EU gets Ice White handheld with Super Mario 3D Land; Nintendogs + Cats joins Coral Pink package.
Offering its handheld systems in a range of colors is an age-old Nintendo tradition that can be traced back to the various iterations on the Game Boy Color. This custom continues as the House of Mario today announced two new bundles set for European release next month.
The new holiday-bound Ice White and Coral Pink bundles are set to hit Europe on the same November 18 release date as Super Mario 3D Land. Mario's latest outing will come packaged with the Ice White version, and Nintendogs + Cats will fill out the Coral Pink package. The new offerings will join the Cosmos Black, Aqua Blue, and Flame Red versions already on shelves.
Nintendo has not announced pricing for the Europe-bound bundles, but similar packages in the region retail for about £164.99 ($263). Nintendo of America has not responded to GameSpot's request for comment on North American releases for these bundles as of press time.

How bout we focus on the games and stop touting colors Nintendo? You've really lost it if you think colors sell systems.
The 3DS will be fine with one analog pad. Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, and other games prove that.
I just hate my white Wii because it gets dirty easily. Good colors for handhelds and consoles in general are black, red, navy and, at the very least, gray IMO. But... there's taste for everything
well guys ..... I want to inform you that they second analog stick is a very good idea ! and it is gives you nice option for switching between hardcore gaming in comfort enviroment ( big size device ) and softcore gaming in waiting room or outside home standby ( small size device ) so imo its good also check this link so you know even hardcore games no need second analog stick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmXqPESPeEA
Stay Frosty 3DS? lol great pun! Nintendo have proved in the past the releasing a console in many different colors works, it is quite sad really
They're certainly making if difficult for anyone to want to buy a 3DS, what with all the new colors they're releasing, and the inevitable redesign.
Not sure why anyone would want to buy one of these when there is certainly a redesign with an added analog stick on the way in the near future.
At this point if you do not have one you yet, matter as well wait for the improved version. Of course you will have to wait again for the monthly different color releases again to get the color you want. Heck maybe by then they will have some new creative games out. Only time will tell.
Why didn't they release this crap at launch? Seriously, it seems like there is a new 3DS color being announced every week now.
NOA officially does not give a damn about the US any more. I've had to import two Wii games and most likely will have to import two more because they are not getting released over here even though they are already translated into English. Now, we are getting jacked on some cool 3DS colors...
