Spiderman 3 was decent I cant find a reasonable argument declaring it was terrible. Altho Opinions can cause stupidity

@Poodger the raimi spiderman movies were alright but the 3rd one was straight up terrible. i understand the whole mary jane watson interaction but they made her way to whiny. its like hello stupid if i dont do what i need to do people are going to die including me and you. how could she not feel compassion towards the guy but instead she just gives him a hard time. to much drama in a comic book movie. like i said the first two were pretty good but the 3rd was just terrible. venom was casted so poorly and i could go on however lots of you have seen it so i dont have to name all the reasons why it was so bad.

love it or not the wizard of oz is a classic. its one of those movies that hasnt and shouldnt be remade for a reason. even if the new reboot is good which i doubt its still not going to be as great as the original. why try to make a movie that is pretty much flawless when you make remakes to improve upon earlier versions of movies that werent so great. i say make warcraft an original movie instead of trying to remake a movie that doesnt and shouldnt be remade.

Slightly related, I heard they are rebooting Spider Man as well, and giving it a darker tone, comparable to Nolan's Batman movies. Should end up FAR better than Raimi's movies

lololol. One problem with this article: Videogames do not like videogame movies. Delaying the WarCraft Movie is GOOD news for franchise fans XD.

throw in Bruce Campbell and then toss buckets of blood on him, and it will end up being a decent, if not entertaining movie

Although many will disagree (and will perhaps thumb me down), I honestly feel Spider-Man 3 wasn't that bad as it was made out to be. The ending was simply a sign of brilliant direction - makes me emotional everytime I see it !!!

Aww I'd much rather he ruin wow flick then a "doesn't need to made except by maybe Tim Burton" Oz. Seriously, he should stick to Xena/Hercules drivel. Wait! wow was perfect for him....

Closest thing to describing watching WoW game play, as a matter of fact even play it, would be to die gradually over the can from a bad case of the back door runs.... Slow, boring, and painful.

Seriously, has Hollywoods well of creativity run soo dry that we need a remake of "The Wizard of Oz"? I wish writers would get off their lazy butts and actually write something quazi original already! And I think erikkire just likes to hear himself speak. Just saying...

Warcraft movie? whoa i didn't see this coming

What happened to the tiny bits of news Blizzard revealed years ago claiming a feature length film was being made by themselves... the disgustingly talented Blizzard animators that do those awesome cutscenes??? Why do they need a big name director when they did a brilliant job crafting an absolutely brilliant story AND cinematics within Warcraft 3? But then again... do they still have the main guys responsible for why Warcraft 3 was so great? Their Diablo guys are no longer the original Diablo guys... they're doing Torchlight now (and pay attention... they made an awesome 1st game with a sequel coming real soon without it taking 10 years). Perhaps it's time to stop referring to Blizzard as Blizzard in news topics... they are officially Blizzard-Activision these days. Things ain't what they used to be in that camp.

warcraft got wayy big lore and sotry i don't think that movie would be awesome, but it's also intresting.

Guys, there is no way, that the movie will be good!!thats because of the wrong timing of its release (at least in five years), which means as somebody already mentioned that the popularity of the franchise will drop significantly due to the release of the next gen mmorpg's. And secondary don't fool yourselves, a game transfer to the big screen was never successfull ,even more when the creators of the franchise (Blizzard) don't contribute as needed for the movie creation!! i mean the fate of the movie rests totally in the hands of some irelative people........you know who...

I must admit, a 40 page document sounds like procrastination, the warcraft universe is either .01 font in 40 pages or a good 960 pages are MIA. to really knock a warcraft film out of the park, they need to not only include every aspect of azeroth but also each and every side of the story being told... i mean, not just humans and night elves but trolls, cows, blood elves and those big blue guys that I can never spell correctly. thumbs up if you agree this wont be an easy transition

@arizothwow You DO realize that this movie is based on the ENTIRE Warcraft franchise and not just WoW? And while we're at it you spelt Azeroth wrong ;)

Anyone who has played WoW since its first released knows that cinematics are a huge part in the games story, for that same reason a movie about the game is one of the best ideas blizzard could think of. WoW has one of the most epic stories of all gaming history, this is where casual player differs from hard core player.

WOW has a story ? I thought it was just an endless grind of killing the same bosses over and over hoping to get better gear. Leave the franchise alone Hollywood plz stop trying to make FAIL video game movies. They never do good. Waste of money and time. Let the Developer tell the story in there games.

Announced in 2006, no signs of production anytime soon. By the time it's actually released WoW's subscription base will have dropped since all the next gen MMOs will have hit the market.

Well the good news is the WOW movie will get lots of rested XP.

Wizard of Oz does not need a remake!!!!! Well I trust Sam Raimi, when he is given control he normally puts out a good product. When too many people are telling him what to do, WE GET SPIDERMAN 3......

Oh joy, another bastardized Disney version of a literary classic, thanks a lot Raimi.Now, I do know of Return to Oz, but Disney isn't even close to being cool enough to do a cool, dark Oz movie like that these days.Just look at how completely non-Burton they forced Burton to be when he made Alice in Wonderland.The old American McGee game was infinitely better in that regard and every other.

Movies like Avatar make it totally feasible to do a movie like this purely in CG. The Blizzard CG movies are amazing .. I would love to see a full WoW movie like that.

Why this movie isn't animated is beyond any logic or common sense. Live action = pure cheese and inevitable comparisons to LOTR films.

@ armydominican69 What in the world are you talking about? The Evil Dead I & II, Army of Darkness, Spider-Man 1 & 2, and Drag Me To Hell are all great movies. Sam Raimi isn't the greatest director in the world but he's far from "horrible", as you say. Sure, Spider-Man 3 is garbage, but let's not discredit all of his other great works because of one film.

Forget SpiderMang, forget Wizard of Oz (can't beat the original)...we need Sam to get on the horn and crank out EVIL DEAD IV! Now that's where the real money is...
