VU Games ships Crash Bandicoot and Spyro titles
VU Games announces the North American release of its Crash Bandicoot Purple and Spyro Orange GBA titles.
Vivendi Universal Games has today announced the North American release of an unusual pair of Game Boy Advance titles. Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage and Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy are crossover titles that both see their titular heroes traveling to the other titular hero's world to aid in battle against either archenemy Ripto or archnemesis Dr. Neo Cortex.
"Both the Crash and Spyro franchises have huge fan bases, so we are very excited to bring these top characters together in these compelling new GBA titles," said Philip O'Neil, VU Games' president of North America. "Crash Bandicoot Purple and Spyro Orange are perfect for gamers looking for action-packed handheld adventures."
Both of the games were developed by Vicarious Visions and support up to four players in more than 25 specially designed multiplayer modes. Connecting the two titles also gives players the opportunities to unlock additional content, including more multiplayer games, more playable characters, and sets of Crash Bandicoot Purple and Spyro Orange collector's cards.
Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage and Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy are both rated "E" for Everyone, and both carry a suggested retail price of $29.99.
