Last week, Midway Games and its president and CEO, David Zucker, unveiled the publisher's upcoming game lineup. The video interview from Vegas is inside.
Midway Games president and CEO David Zucker leaned in to his company's upcoming game lineup at the 2007 Midway Gamers' Day event in Las Vegas last week. In this interview, Zucker pays special attention to the Wii (which he lauds), Unreal Tournament 3 for the Xbox 360 (one of the big news items to come from the event), and his high hopes for The Wheelman, a game currently in development at Midway's Newcastle studio in the UK (watch for "unbelievable stunts, and gameplay in the vehicles that's never been seen before," according to Zucker).
If you missed our coverage of the Midway event, this roundup will bring you up to date on all the news announced.
UT 2004 was incredible. UT 3 can only be an improvement. Suddenly, I seem to care less that Halo 3 won't be out until November or so this year.
Unreal tournament is mankinds absolute greatest acheivment. It's the only game that makes me break a tension sweat everytime i play it ...its soo intensely fun. I cant wait to start taking your money on tournaments
By judging how insanely superb the Diesel-produced Riddick game turned out, "The Wheelman" might end up being the sleeper hit of the year. The single player element of "Unreal Tournament III" also looks promising, it's been a while since the last retro-ish Quake-alike shooter.
its great the GS decided to put up a video rather then a written up Q&A, however, what happened to the questions! it took me a while to understand what the dude was saying. hopefully GS will make available the written up stuff as well as a multimedia componemt (video and/or audio) all goo information though...
