Vampire Chronicles Release Confirmed

Capcom confirms its plans to release Vampire Chronicles, the latest chapter in the Vampire Hunter series, for the Dreamcast in Japan.

Thursday, Capcom officially announced that it will release Vampire Chronicles for the Sega Dreamcast in Japan. The game is the latest chapter in the Vampire Hunter series, and lets players select fighting styles from Dark Stalkers, Vampire Hunter, and Vampire Savior (Vampire Hunter 3 in North America). Players can also select characters from the entire Vampire Hunter series. Some of the characters, who are new to the series, will also feature a new fighting style.

Priced at 4,800 yen (US$45),Vampire Chronicles is scheduled for a Japanese release on August 10. The game will be available only through Sega's online store, Dreamcast Direct.
