Unreal II multiplayer demo live
Sample of new XMP mode contains a single level of online destruction.
The demo for the newly announced Unreal II: The Awakening Special Edition is now live on DLX. Featuring class-based gameplay, the single level from the game's XMP (expanded multiplayer) mode lets gamers join forces to conquer, secure, and defend energy sources. The full XMP will feature deployment points and a battle royale for control of four alien artifacts, which are required to win the game.
Unreal II: The Awakening Special Edition scheduled to ship December 9, with an MSRP of $29.99 and an ESRB rating of 'M' for mature. Current owners of Unreal II will be able to download the XMP mode for free shortly after the game's release.
