Uncharted Dual Pack mapped out for Sept. 6

Anyone who hasn't palyed the first two games needs to pick this up NOW. Really, those games show there's still a place for linear action adventure games in video games today.

worth a purchase both to those who are new to the series & wants to play Uncharted 3.. & to those who owned both games separately but this time w/ the inclusion of all DLCs to boot

i sucked at the demo so i said i wasnt buying the game, then the second one came out, then the third, and i thought... "woa this game is getting popular. i should try it again" this is perfect for me, looks like i know what im buying when i get paid

Sounds awesome i think I'll pick this up along with MGS 4 when I get my hands on a PS3.

That's a sweet deal if you don't own them! $20 for each game plus DLC stuff? I wish all franchises would do this when their games get older.

This is a great move for those who haven't played them cause they're both worth the money to own in my book. I paid $60 collectively for both ($20 for Drake's Fortune and $40 for Among Thieves) and thought it would and it was well worth the price. I wouldn't have been upset if I paid full price for both, so this $40 pack is a big steal to me. If you're into great stories and great gameplay you won't be dissappointed, especially with the sequel. Can't wait for the 3rd.

I got both platinum trophies for both games It is a good chance for the people who didnt get it at lunch

Yay!! I had played and traded both, but have been contemplating buying them again. This seals the deal!

I'm actually very excited about this! I was about to buy them both soon anyway. I've yet to play them (just the demos which were amazing) so this is perfect timing for me.

Amazing. First God of War (Origins Collection with Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta) and now Uncharted Daul Pack (Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves). "More kudos for Sony". "What's next: Jak and Daxter Collection? Only time will tell".

@BigBigR Exactly, it's not your usual character, he's different. That's the point I was getting at. The PS3 has long been considered by many the "more mature" console out of the three, why not go the full hog and have an 18+ game lead as the face. This is what makes God Of War 3 sales that much more impressive, it lacks a huge portion of the younger market that Uncharted has access too but still gained very impressive sales. Based on character design alone it would have been Kratos. I acknowledge that most of my points are strongly based on opinion.

@heroesfan26 Almost all of which was derived from Tomb Raider. Nathan Drake isn't anyway near as iconic and never will be. Countless people who aren't into gaming do recognise Lara and know what game she's from. Drake isn't that well known, lets be honest.

Kind of late i think, U3 is just around the corner.

@Megavideogamer If this set is like the Resistance Dual Pack, it'll actually be both individual game cases in a cardboard box, not on one disc.

The funny thing is the creator excuse to not include move support is that the game is a platform and shooter . lol, super mario galaxy use the mote for both, platform and shooting (collecting star bits and shooting).

Well this is a great time to catch up on uncharted 1 and 2. if you haven't already done so before Uncharted 3 arrives. 2 games on 1 blu-ray disc for $40.00 is a good deal.

Just last week or so I finally finished my platinum trophy for Drake's Fortune. I LOVE that game, but there's a few mechanics from the second one that once you get used to, make the 1st one way frustrating to play, especially on crushing. I was wishing they'd come out with a psn version of Drake's Fortune with the combat mechanics of the 2nd one, like strafing while you're in cover, or having the grenades on L2 instead of as a weapon you select. This dual pack is good though. It's an amazing game that more people need to experience.

Although I'm sure you could get both used separately for about the same price, this is still a great way for people who have held out until now to get into this series. One of the best things to happen this generation, you're depriving yourself if you haven't played it yet. I don't mean that in a "you must have PS3" way either, I think of gears of war in the same way, especially the co op mode. I understand why this series doesn't have it but I wish it did sometimes.

$40? That's a good deal, but I got both games for $30 six months ago.

This will no doubt be the last chance to buy old games - new, without having some crappy 'access code'. For anyone that doesn't own the Uncharted games I say get them! the 360 may have Gears, but Sony has Drake. And I for sure know which one I'd rather have.. Awesome.

I acually thought everyone in The World has both UNCHARTED games by now and has played them many times , the TOMB RAIDER TRILOGY is a different story it's been tweeked and upgraded for ps3 , I also have those in my ( all 3rd person ) collection ...

This is already in shops in the UK. There are 3 new dual packs: Resistance 1 and 2, Uncharted 1 and 2 and: Ratchet and Clank Future....

I might get that i tried the demo before and i thought it was good but unfortunatly i always had other game i wanted more so i never bought any uncharted until now but i can surely save 40$ to buy this games.

I'm thinking of getting it i borrowed drake's fortune from a friend and haven't played among thieves i loved it though this will be perfect for me! : )

i still remember when i got uncharted 1 for christmas in 2007, and loved it before it got popular, and then when uncharted 2 was announced i freaked out cause i could not wait, then for next christmas in 2009, i got uncharted 2 and fricking loved it, now i got to wait for uncharted 3 to come out.

Not surprising at all, but still a great package and a great couple of games. If you have never played them and you own a PS3, this is a must play package. If you've played them both, skip it. If you have only played one, buy the other one used for cheap! Have fun!

Keep rolling out these dual packs! Makes it easier to buy everything when I get my PlayStation 3 somewhere in the coming 4 months :P
