Its sad to see a nice company like Xseed, sinking into digital distribution, they gonna froze their growth if continue like this.
Unchained Blades out in English this June
The RPG by former Lunar and Grandia developers will be out on PSP; a 3DS version will be released later this year in digital form.
Publisher Xseed Games will be localising the PSP and 3DS RPG Unchained Blades for North American markets. The game will be out for the PSP as a digital download via the PlayStation Store on June 26. The title will be on sale for $29.99.
The 3DS version will be out in digital download form later this year. The RPG was created by developer FuRyu, which consists of former Lunar series director Toshio Akashi and former Grandia series story writer Takashi Hino. The game is tailored as a dungeon crawler RPG with a huge emphasis on story; players can also recruit up to four monsters per party as additional cannon fodder and support.
A sequel to the game, Unchained Blades Exiv, will be out on October 21 in Japan for the PSP and 3DS.
