Ubisoft expects 8 percent Q3 sales spike to $827M

Hey, UbiSoft, imagine for a second just how many more customers you could win by dropping all your uPlay and DRM crap - i prognose it will blow your mind. I would gladly buy all of the assassins creed series, some splinter cells for the casual sneaky action, the new settlers and anno games and probably more of your titles I can't remember off the top of my head right now - All you have to do is : - when I buy your game it should be mine, i shall be able to install it as often I require (I'm not renting it for 60 ?, I'm buying it) - I want to play the singleplayer without having to be connected to your Servers that are mostly offline or having other troubles - I do not want to play disk jockey, so get rid of CD / DVD disk checks - I want to just install, enter serial number and play - make uPlay completely and entirely optional - get rid of the UbiSoft launcher That's about 250 ? you'd get from me alone, now do the math how much you could earn if only you'd stop pissing off your customers that like your games but don't buy them because of how you treat your legal customers. (all the DRM, forced online, launcher troubles, etc.) And no, I didn't pirate any of them either, I just stopped caring, there's a whole lot of other games out there to play.

@Tsuchikage Yeah Rayman should have been mentioned as it was easily one of the best games released in 2011!! I did my part and grabbed a copy - totally worth it!

Notice how Mr. Guillemot didn't mention Rayman Origins as a successful product. I'd like to know how the game's doing on the marketplace, but I'm also really worried about it at the same time.

So ACR did "Solid" sales and while Just Dance did "Outstanding". I think AC might be showing signs of trouble. Stop with the yearly games and I'll start caring about AC again.

Want even better sales? Treat the PC community with some respect,get permanently rid of intrusive always on-line DRMs that are ineffective against piracy and only punish loyal consumers,and DON'T call PC gamers pirates that b*tch all the time,then ppl will actually gladly buy your products,some offer nice quality,like AC series... Sure,there is more piracy on PC than on console,but devs who treat PC community right get profit from PC sales,despite piracy...
