Ubisoft cuts top Rainbow 6 Patriots staff - Report

whoever the new development team is PLEASE don't put a jump button or melee attack into the new patriots...if i wanted to play COD I would just buy a COD game...it would be cool to have the ability to move around will you pop out of cover though, like you can in Gears of War...oh yea one last thing FIX ATTACK AND DEFEND MODE!!! the dumbasses took the best game mode from rainbow vegas 1 and limited the number of respawns to 3 being the maximum...F*ck that, i want 20minute matches with unlimited respawns like back in the calypso casino days...

who cares anyway, once counter strike global offensive comes out, it's over for all other FPS's

they better not make it like call of duty, diablo 3 was a big disapointment cuz they sidetracked it for WOW...thats lame

I get the feeling that Ubisoft is pulling an EA and wants some half arsed game that can make as much money as possible. And then release a new DLC every week that should have been part of the actual game. I personally don't care who's in charge now. If the "key" people whom were part of that epic trailer were released, then no one else can fill their shoes. Meaning this game will be best used as toilet tissue. That's like taking out Derek Rose (of the Chicago Bulls) out of the game when their's 30 seconds left on the game clock and the Bulls are down by one point. It makes no sense!

@Sevenizz And they're even less like they were on the PC before that. Though yeah, I LOVED the Clancy games on Xbox 1.

this game was one that really caught my eye when i heard the premise, i hope all is well over there and we still get an awesome game

Following Ubi's recent trends, they'll probably use this as an excuse to release an "incomplete" product and mask the rest of the content as "extra" DLC.

That was a hell of a trailer. But it doesn't bode well for the game when your top developers are let go mid-development. I hope it turns out well. I

RB6 Vegas was good, lots of room for improvement, but still good. More realism, less cartoony stuff would be good. That helicopter at the end of the second game was a bit much.

I will be keeping this game on my radar, but Ubisoft has a habit of totally revamping their Clancy games to the point where they are nothing like the original games we fell in love with. This series, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell are nothing at all like they were on the original Xbox.

Dont get me wrong the tradiler look new look for Rainbow and was going the right way with Rainbow 6. But know after sacking 4 top pp something up for sure and i think it could to lead to problems know since there hire one . I dont see this a 213 window know and might have problems thats what i think.

I wonder why they were fired? Huge Rainbow Six Vegas fan here, played though both games on the PC. The Vegas games were amazing, I want more of the same! SCAR-H CQC with the 6x scope is too fun.

ole' Tom Clancy has always done purty darn good !

Socom 1 & 2 were great!.Once Sears was gone from Socom,they were not as great.Will this happen here as well?One must wonder.

This was one of the few games I was looking forward too. Either way, you don't cut a guy like Sears unless something is really up.

You don't remove four top developers from a game due to simple restructuring. There's something else happening.

@kris9031998 I was just thinking the opposite. All we have at the moment is concept and I believe it looks top notch and awesome.

Seems like Ubisoft was unhappy with the way the project was going, from the sounds of it. Hope the game turns out well, and retains the controversial home grown terrorism theme.

This game looks great, really strikes a cord with us Americans. Why are they nuturing it. Next is's gonna be a downloadable game like they did to I Am Alive

David Sears the man who brought us Socom 1 and 2, there has to be something more to this then restructuring.

Game doesn't look very good. Looks quite dumbed down.

Can't believe they took out the development team.....but the game looks really good....
