Ubisoft courting Cliff Bleszinski?

Assassin's Creed publisher reportedly interested in speaking with former Epic Games design director.
Could Cliff Bleszinski land at Ubisoft? The recently jobless developer revealed on Twitter that Ubisoft sent him a phone with one number programmed on it and the Ubisoft logo as a background. It is not clear if Bleszinski ever called the number.
A Ubisoft representative was not immediately available for comment.
Bleszinski left Epic Games after 20 years with the company last month. At the time, he said it was "time for a much needed break" before embarking on the "next stage" of his career.
It is not clear where Bleszinski is headed, though his Twitter feed of late has led to much speculation. Since leaving Epic Games, Bleszinski has visited the offices of Activision, Zynga, Double Fine, and Electronic Arts. He has also met with God of War and Twisted Metal designer David Jaffe.

I swear, am I the only one who likes CliffyB? I give the guy a lot of props for being willing to speak his mind without a PR person filtering everything he says.
I sure as hell hope not. I actually like Ubisoft and Cliff seems more interested in himself than gamers.
Who cares where he lands... the self proclaimed Tony Stark of video games, give me a break. The guys ego needs a reality check.
I could see it working for Cliff B. and Ubisoft. The future of Ubisoft does hold a ton of potential. Better than Activison and EA, that's for sure.

2 Like so hoping into a new job at a new company is taking a break SMH and shortly after taking his breaks he offers to fix RE6 . There must of been some fallout at Epic
@StateOfGrace Come on, nothing like the hidden chainsaw and hiding in a pile a guts for the sake of it! You will even be able to prone behind a fence to hide from the guards and take cover while shooting'em with your supersized pistol of face melting +3!
@Pr0ving4Gr0undz @StateOfGrace It's very possible. A modern-day-set AC game that does not use sniper rifles would actually seem silly.
...not that I'm advocating the concept, I'm just saying it makes sense thematically.

1 Like Good, good. I was just thinking about how the Assassin's Creed series doesn't have nearly enough burly, steroidal, foul-mouthed Bros in it. I'm sure Cliff can clear that right up.

Can someone tell me what are the best games directed or lead-designed by this person? i dont understand why some people seem to hate him but also why gamespot is always posting news about him.
really don't know why he and people like him became so famous. making a game is a team work, also, as a part of a project, there are so many better people than him in the game industry (with so much better games than geow and ut !!! in their resume)

@UberGamer44 This is what I think should be done as well. The real question is, "what is it like to work with/for him?" Working for a D-Bag is horrible, no matter how much money you make. If cliff is a good guy and treats employees fair, then making his own company should be all that is on the table for him.
