Ubi Soft brings Morrowind to Europe
The French publisher reaches an agreement to publish several Bethesda Softworks' titles in Europe, including Morrowind for the Xbox.
Ubi Soft Entertainment has announced that it has reached an agreement with Bethesda Softworks to release nine games for the European market. The Bethesda titles covered under the agreement include Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for the Xbox and PC, Sea Dogs for the PC, and several unannounced games--a total of nine Bethesda Softworks' games will be published in Europe by Ubi Soft.
"Morrowind is one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year," said Alain Corre, Ubi Soft's managing director for Europe, Asia Pacific and South America. "The media are already very excited about it, months before its release. We hope it will be just as successful as Daggerfall the previous chapter in the series."
Morrowind will be released this spring in Europe.
