Tropico 2 Web site goes live

Gathering of Developers has announced that the official Web site for Tropico 2 is now online. The site includes a feature list, screenshots, downloadable wallpapers, and a discussion forum. Tropico 2 is a simulation game set on a hidden pirate island. Players control the island, setting up shops and other amenities to serve the game's pirate population. Well-equipped pirates will make more money on their raids, which they will in turn spend at the shops on your island, fueling profit.

A playable demo of Tropico has just been released. GameSpot Complete members can get the 128MB file from the link below.
