Trio of new Strategy First titles
Canadian studio to publish Supremacy, Two Thrones, and Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire.
As first reported on Blue's News, three new titles appeared on the Strategy First site today. Although none has a firm release date as yet, the three very different games will presumably be released by the Canadian studio next year.
First up is Supremacy: Four Paths to Power, developed by Black Hammer. The turn-based strategy game chronicles an interstellar war between four different races, with an emphasis on resource management as well as military conquest.
The second title is Two Thrones, the latest addition to Paradox Entertainment's Europa Universalis series. The game will cover Western Europe in the 14th and 15th centuries, when the Dark Ages were beginning to give way to the Renaissance. Of course, players will have to deal with a few bumps along the way, like the Black Plague, barbarian invasions, and fiefdom-hungry rivals.
Third comes Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire, the sequel to 2000's Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business, both developed by Sir-Tech Software. Like its predecessor, the game will follow a group of battle-hardened mercenaries on a mission in the fictional Latin American nation of Arulco. The job this time around is the elimination of cocaine cartel for the U.S. government.
