It appears the studio that created Transformers games War for Cybertron, Dark of the Moon, and the upcoming Fall of Cybertron are building a title based on a Marvel property. The recently published Comic-Con 2012 programming schedule indicates Activision and High Moon Studios will make an announcement during a panel titled "Marvel Video Games."

Also during the panel--to be held on Saturday, July 14--Gazillion Entertainment will talk up its Marvel Heroes massively multiplayer online game, and Ubisoft plans to show off Avengers: Battle for Earth.

Prior to developing Transformers titles, High Moon Studios built 2008's The Bourne Conspiracy for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and 2005's original Xbox and PlayStation 2 title Darkwatch.

The latest game to be released based on a Marvel property is last week's The Amazing Spider-Man, which was developed by Beenox. High Moon Studios' Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is due out on August 28 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more on that game, check out GameSpot's latest preview.
