High Moon has done shooter games for the most part (the recent Transformer games), so I'll hold my anticipation on this.
Transformers dev working on Marvel game?
Activision and High Moon Studios tease new game announcement during "Marvel Video Games" panel at Comic-Con 2012 next week in San Diego.
It appears the studio that created Transformers games War for Cybertron, Dark of the Moon, and the upcoming Fall of Cybertron are building a title based on a Marvel property. The recently published Comic-Con 2012 programming schedule indicates Activision and High Moon Studios will make an announcement during a panel titled "Marvel Video Games."
Also during the panel--to be held on Saturday, July 14--Gazillion Entertainment will talk up its Marvel Heroes massively multiplayer online game, and Ubisoft plans to show off Avengers: Battle for Earth.
Prior to developing Transformers titles, High Moon Studios built 2008's The Bourne Conspiracy for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and 2005's original Xbox and PlayStation 2 title Darkwatch.
The latest game to be released based on a Marvel property is last week's The Amazing Spider-Man, which was developed by Beenox. High Moon Studios' Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is due out on August 28 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more on that game, check out GameSpot's latest preview.
