Producer's Note Site Blog: April 1 2010 TOTS Segments
It has been a long tradition here at GameSpot to have a lot of fun, fictitious content surrounding April 1. This year we went all out and dedicated an entire TOTS show to the April Fools experience, and since we couldn't attach these segments to any official game spaces, we wanted to highlight them in our Producer's Note blog. We had a lot of fun making them, so please enjoy!
my fav. was Tor Thorsen i think his by far one of the best guys i'd like to see here on video. His voice is catchy and has much better on camera skills then all other reviewers. No offense to other staff lol.
In the Trials of the Grey Warden vid there are gameplay videos from Mass Effect 2 that I'm not familiar with even tho I beat the game - at 1:36 & 3:05. any1 know what mission that is? Is it N7?
Anyone remember a few years back when they had the Zelda movie trailer? I was definitely fooled by that one for about 2 full years. You can imagine the heartache I felt.
@ XxDuSaNxX That call of jury duty was just weird. And the mass effect DLC had some giveaways, like old sections being played out. Still it had some good lies :)
I am a god-damn retard I forgot about April Tools day, and I totally believed everything up to maddogz except for that dating thing in the news. I thought they were just kidding around a bit. I actually got excited about Mass Effect DLC, Call of jury duty and Megaman deconstructed. I spent that entire day facepalming/headdesking
Thorsen: "This is your Gamespot news update for June 18th, 2018!" I think I am the only one that caught that at the end
I knew this was an April Fools Joke...weirdly enough it was when he said $19.95 that I knew it was a joke. Why? Billy Mays the Commercial king always had his prices at $19.95. I love this, the best one yet; however let us all get back to reality and back to real friggen awesome games!
Great stuff.... One thing bothers me though - people playing games using Natal / Move will look really stupid after all.
