Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 revealed

Woods to be joined by retired American golf star Arnold Palmer on box art; Keegan Bradley, Bud Cauley, Stacy Lewis, and Lexi Thompson added as playable characters.

EA Sports has announced Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, revealing that Woods will be joined by retired American golf icon Arnold Palmer on the game's cover. Palmer is one of the most decorated golfers in history, recording 92 professional victories, including seven Majors.

Palmer will be a playable character in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, but he is no stranger to the franchise. The golfer also appeared in the 2005 and 2006 versions of the game.

Golfers making their digital debut in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 include PGA and LPGA standouts like Keegan Bradley, Bud Cauley, Stacy Lewis, and Lexi Thompson. In all, the game will feature more than 25 professional golfers.

EA Sports will reveal a special European version of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 box art in the time ahead. It was not announced which golfers will appear on this iteration.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is in development at EA Tiburon in Orlando, Florida. No release date or platforms for the game were announced, though box art for the game indicates it will ship for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with Kinect and PlayStation Move support, respectively.

EA Sports also announced retailer-specific preorder bonuses for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14. They are listed below.

...I also think they should consider phasing "Tiger Woods" out of the title.  Just call it PGA Tour Golf" instead.  Whenever a person buys a copy of the game some of that money goes into Tiger's pockets as licensing/royalty fees.  Considering his behaviour and his poor performances playing since then, I'd rather the money went to someone more worthy such as Rory McIlroy.

 When Rory Mcllroy wins more majors than tiger woods mabye then they will consider giving him his own vidoe game. untill then tiger will remain the face of the game. cant think of anyone else who has done more for the sport than tiger woods. if it wasnt for hime golf wouldnt be where it is today so im pretty sure hes worthy. his behavior outside of golf has nothing to do with a video game and if u dont wanna put money into his pockets dont buy the game bud!

They seriously need to make additional courses MUCH more affordable, or at the very least not making them so expensive through in-game coins that you have to play it all day, every day to stand a chance of unlocking them.  If not, then for the first time in over 10 years I will not buy the Tiger Woods game.  I'll play "Everybody's Golf/Hot Shots Golf" on my PS Vita instead.

ahh the next tiger woods game with half of the courses on the disc but locked out unless you buy them as DLC

 

so no thanks EA your previous tiger woods games (on PS2 for example) used to have it all, EA seems to handle DLC badly

Why is EA still using repulsive Woods? Of course they had to put in Palmer to make the fact they still use Woods OK and make the game sell more.

The prospect of having this game occupying a store shelf makes me so excited I had to yawn and rub my eyes.

I cannot stand when there are pre-order bonuses period, but I REALLY cannot stand when you have to decide where to buy it in order to get the one you want.  I think Deus Ex HR did this too.  There were like 3 or 4 different bonus packs.  I hate it when they do shit like that.  So that means if you want any of the other courses, you either don't get them at all if they are not offered as DLC (which I also hate), or you have to pay for them.  Blah...oh well, this game will probably not come out on PC anyway.  And let me guess, there is no Augusta National again right?  Stupid fucks.

I was still rocking Tiger Woods 09 until just recently...haven't been able to find a "complete" Tiger Woods game since. EA makes you pay for half of the courses if you want the full game :(
