Thief coming to Xbox 720?

Eidos Montreal dev's LinkedIn profile claims next-generation stealth game also in development for Microsoft's upcoming platform.
Eidos Montreal's upcoming stealth game Thief is in development for Microsoft's recently confirmed next-generation platform. That's according to the LinkedIn profile page of an Eidos Montreal developer spotted by Videogamer, who lists the game as in development for "PS4/Xbox 720/PC."
Publisher Square Enix has only confirmed Thief for PC, PlayStation 4, and "other next-generation platforms." The company declined to comment when approached.
If Thief is in fact in development for Microsoft's Xbox 720, it may not be long until that information is confirmed. Microsoft announced last night that it will hold a reveal event on May 21 to introduce its new console and usher in a "new generation of games, TV, and entertainment."
Thief will launch in 2014. Eidos Montreal has no plans for a competitive multiplayer component for the game.

was i the only one who noticed on the platforms list at the end of the trailer that it said "PS4 and other next gen consoles".
Well that's hardly any news. BUt I am afraid tief wont be very good compared to the old ones. IT looks to be dumbed down in the name of mass appeal with nice hand holding arrows and flashing stuff
@edinko so true. You have evidently gamed for some time and can appreciate the great games of yesteryear. we'll just have to hold our collective breaths!

I guess I won't be playing Thief again unless they make it backward compatible to the 360. I'm not going to spend the money on a new counsel unless my 360 takes a dump.
I think Xbox 720 sounds stupid.....I think Microsoft will be smarter than to name it that...I hope....
where is "the legacy of kain" eidos...i want more of that series.... was the best story ever........you can take your theif back....give me razeil...
i just liking this game more and more ... and of course by "other next gen consoles" they meant xbox ... sure MS will not want to lose anything in early stages ... :)
Just because it may be available for the "720" doesn't mean they'll show it May 21st.. But it'd be nice if they did....

@Gallowhand It's a strong achievement for Eddie to write an article without errors, but perhaps too strong? Or even, Armstrong (i.e. using activity enhancing drugs :P)?
@Hurvl @Gallowhand It kind of makes up for the fact that the article itself is face-palmingly pointless and / or obvious. There will be loads of these repeating now as we basically get all the multi-format games that were confirmed for PS4 being confirmed for 720.

@Oozyrat It's going to be called the Windows 8 Process Console, or just Win8 PC for short.
@Oozyrat Honestly, I would prefer it be called the 720 opposed to just "Xbox". I mean, that's like a reboot every other iteration; that would be stupid. I highly doubt that it's going to be called it that, and I don't see how so many believe that it will.
@Oozyrat No official name yet, even though there's rumors it might be called XBox Infinity. We'll see.
@blackace @Oozyrat Some have called it Xbox Durango, but the Devil and some other stuff goes by many names.
