The Witcher 2 hexing PCs early 2011

what no release date for 360?? thought it was maj? well now i am just going to play for free, like other pc gamers :(

all of gamers should get this game when it comes

@ summonsoul its better this way, once it comes to console it gets compromised and isnt quite the same. With a little research and less money than xbox kinect im sure your pc could run the first one easily.

bring this game to consoles . my computer sucks , i just bought the first but my comp apparently is to old to run it

I hope this game will be less buggy than its predecessor.

hopefully on first day release, the US version will be uncensored this time.

I heard alot from my friends who have played the first game and so I hope it gets released on consoles so that I would give it a try......

Diablo 3 / The Witcher 2 / Half-Life 3... 2011 gonna be awesome for PC Gamer!! right now... I'll stick with StarCraft 2 & Crysis 2 can't wait..

My only motivation playing this game was the romance part, got bored with it half-way through the game ending up not finishing the last chapter. I hope they improve the battle system...

Oh My God if it's true then... OMFG!!! i'm having a heart attack! LOL: the interesting thing that i'm almost sure is that whenever it comes out it's gonna be sooner than Diablo 3!

The Witcher ranks near the top as one of my favorite action/RPG games. I played to the very end which for me is an accomplishment of sorts because sometimes I neither have the time or I lose interest in the game. The Witcher was really a great game. I hope the sequel isn't too demanding for my aging PC or I may just have to start planning my next build.

The Witcher isn't really my kind of RPG however but i never really finished the game so i should do that first.

I didn't like the combat nor the quests in the first, not sure about this one.

@Daian I totally agree. It's just too bad that so many people seem to think FFXIII IS a RPG. It may be wrong but it could definitely win on name alone. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened in my opinion.

sounds nice, but i do hope that they make geralt more... lively during conversations, and they animated combat a bit more something in the style of Oblivion.

I hated The Witcher. If The Witcher 2 is more of the same... not thank you.

First game was awesome. I had borrowed it from a friend and never finished it. I bought it for 13$ during the last Holiday sale on STEAM. I need to finish it before 2 comes out ... A unique and amazing RPG...

Will do my part to support CD Projekt by buying this game when it comes out.

one can hope that the second one is as good as the first one. I think it had nice touch in the dark sides and it had some nice realistic views in it. And I think one of the best things was that no matter what you choose there isn't any good or bad things. It was all about what you as a player saw what is wrong and right... So Looking forward to this.

I liked the Witcher my main problem with the game was the spells looked kinda bad, they looked kinda bland.. but the environment and art style was really well done. I also think they need to revamp the skill tree's a little bit, it just never really got me that excited to power geralt up. In fact over all gameplay kinda mehh.. However the atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the characters. I dont like dumbing games down but I hope they streamline the combat a bit better, make it more conclusive.

Never picked up the first one; not sure how I missed it as it looked amazing. I'll have to remedy that in preparation for this; looks really good as well.

Played the first game on my old PC.Hope they release console versions otherwise I will have to buy a new PC just to play this game.

Oh hell yeah! Hopefully by that time we will have the rest of The Witcher novels translated into English and released here. @skyklg I don't want to spoil the first one for anyone that hasn't beaten it, not only do you find out where Alvin went, you actually talk to him a couple a times, granted you don't know it is him at first but you do still meet him.

@xeridae ME2 is really great but FFXIII isn't exactly the best in the series and it will not win anyway. FF won't win on name alone, it would have been really highly praised if that was the case but it's not, people were expecting some kind of masterpiece and it's not. It's good, but not rpg of the year. Personally i don't even put FF in the same category as other RPGs since it's a JRPG which are more like anime tv shows than epic rpgs.

Brilliant, the first one was one of my favorite RPGs ever. Also, I want Shani back.

2011 can't come soon enough.

Yay! Witcher 2 has gotta answer alot of things from Witcher 1. The Alvin paradox. Where is alvin? Is he the main antagonist in the end? The mystery of the assasin in the ending. Im glad they r doing something on the combat aspect as i find it simplistic n boring at times. Also i hope they will improve on the character models. I mean... everybody(execpt the main characters) looks exactly the same. Witcher 1 is a great game! Really like it, looking forward to it.

Yes Please! The first one is great, doesn't work well on Vista/Seven though, but brilliant non the less. The Witcher 2 is looking very good.

I really wanted to play the first one but alas the console version was canceled and my laptop lacks the power too play most games. Hopefully they will follow through with the console releases this time, meanwhile you pc gamers can enjoy it.

@xeridae the only problem is that this isnt coming out until next year, so unless all the publications hold those over for the sole purpose of competing with the witcher 2 and next years rpgs ff13 and me2 wont be in the running with this. not to say they would win or lose against the witcher, just saying that they wont be in the running with it.
