[UPDATE] Executive producer Sergey Titov calls out portion of player base through game's forums; representative says Titov "has no prejudice against homosexuals; just a poor choice and inappropriate choice of words."
The War Z executive producer Sergey Titov has called spawn campers in his zombie survival shooter "f**gots." The forum post has since been edited to remove the language, but Titov's comments were quoted by other forum users, and are visible in their original form through a Google search.
"I'm trying to play at least couple hours a day every single day. Getting killed a lot, but 80 percent of all kills are 'honest.' I'm just being careless. I'm not trying to hide. 20 percent are sh***y kills by f**got's who's spawn camping," Titov said. "Or by guys who just want to play the shooter and shoot everyone in sight."
[UPDATE] A representative from the game's press team VIM Global Consulting told GameSpot, "Knowing Sergey, I can say with confidence that he has no prejudice against homosexuals; just a poor and inappropriate choice of words."
The War Z is an open-world online zombie shooter. It is currently in development at Hammerpoint Interactive, with an open beta scheduled to begin on October 31.

It's just normal gammer rage lingo, why is everyone having a hissy fit? I'd wager it's more about him being an con artist and his team a bunch of bullies rather that whats said by 2 out of every 10 gamers we all know on a regular basis.
@Clovergirl227 because he is works for the game company. It's very unprofessional and he is also not a child. If I worked for a game and being spawn camped. I don't think I would make a quote like that. I would let the other game designers know what there is to fix. Also yes him and his team are con artists. Their company is very embarrassing and unprofessional.

Their game was pulled from Steam and people have been complaining about the game for good reason.
How bad are you that you get this upset over your own game? That being said people are too damn sensitive about this, the fact that they even have to go out and say he has nothing against homosexuals is pathetic, and the fact that anyone cares that he said this is pretty pathetic.

@JustArtificialHe was talking about spawn campers, people who sit just inside the safe zone and wait for someone to run out of it, before takeing a step forward and shoting them in the back.

Being homosexual is not being used as an insulting term. I think you missed the point. He has no idea the gender, race or sexual orientation of the spawn campers. He chose a derogatory term to insult them.

Sergey Titov came to a forum about Big Rigs I run to answer some questions about the game (user 'ohmygodheisreal' here http://www.yourewinner.com/index.php?topic=3427.0), he was just as colourful there. He insisted he had absolutely nothing to do with big rigs mind you
1 Like I would figure with him being the Executive Producer he would have alittle more class than that. He does have a right to call it like he sees it but i think his success has went to his head. Thats just my opinion though.....

His attitude towards his customers is very unprofessional and bad for business. People have been fired for less.
