The War Engine goes gold
Shrapnel's wargame construction kit is complete.
Shrapnel Games has announced that The War Engine, its wargame construction kit, has gone gold. The construction kit lets players build a wide variety of strategy games by defining the rules and units involved. The War Engine also comes with seven prebuilt games to demonstrate the capabilities of the engine. These games range from sci-fi squad-based games to World War II operational wargames. In addition, there is a fantasy wargame, a paintball game, and a space combat game.
The War Engine was developed by Boku Strategy Games, and it is scheduled for release on October 22. The game is available for preorder at the official Shrapnel Games Web site for a retail price of $39.95.
