The Two Towers coming to Xbox and GameCube

Electronic Arts announces that its Lord of the Rings-inspired action game will be available on all current consoles before the end of the year.

Following the release of the PS2 version of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers yesterday, Electronic Arts has announced that Xbox and GameCube versions of the game are also in development and are scheduled for release before the end of the year.

Based on the first two Lord of the Rings movies, the game lets players assume the roles of Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli and challenges them to battle through 13 orc-infested levels taken straight from the films. For more information, check out our full review of the PS2 version. A full review of the game is also in development and is scheduled for release on November 12.
