this delay alone should mean that everyone gets to play DEMO at the same time ! we who may not be getting GOW does not make us bad people , besides that equality means something does it not ?

Sony delays PlayStation 3-exclusive action shooter by five weeks.
Naughty Dog's upcoming postapocalyptic PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us has been delayed until June 14, Sony has announced.
The game was previously scheduled to be released on May 7 but has now been delayed an additional five weeks. The June 14 release date is worldwide.
In a statement issued by Naughty Dog, the developer said, "As a team we pride ourselves on setting a very high quality bar for every aspect of our games--gameplay, story, art, design, technology and more. We want to make sure The Last of Us raises that bar even further - for ourselves, and most importantly, our fans."
"As we entered the final phase of development for The Last of Us, we came to realise just how massive Joel and Ellie's journey is. But instead of cutting corners or compromising our vision, we came to the tough decision that the game deserved a few extra weeks to ensure every detail of The Last of Us was up to Naughty Dog's internal high standards."

2 Like For me this is great news, gives me 6 paychecks to save up for this game instead of 3, I do find it odd that its a Friday release. Now I don't feel so stressed about wanting to get the Post-Pandemic Edition! I am really looking forward to this, I won't get to play it for a while, as I am still playing games from November, and March is full, but I am still excited for this game and this news.
Naughty Dog Sucks i wont be getting anything for Naughty Dog ever and they really dont care about the fans.
Naughty Dog's Uncharted 3 Needs a huge FIX on thier Multiplayer, when ever you try to play multiplayer mode your PS3 freezes, on the connecting screen and its happing to alot of people, just google it and you will see how many people are facing this problem, and their is no feedback from Naughty Dog about this issus. They already made thier money out of Uncharted 3 and doesnt care to fix this OUT.
So dont expect too much from this company,They will treat it as they treated Uncharted 3,which is simply turn a blind eye and pretend they do know whats going on and will be tring to milk people out from Last of Us 2.

2 Like Okay...I have to speak my mind about the multiplayer...people...shut up about it. It's Naughty Dog. It's NOT going to be tacked on, they said that they aren't sacrificing man power for either the campaign or multiplayer. And besides, think about what they COULD do with it. A survival multiplayer mode? I'm all for it. Naughty Dog's multiplayer modes are NOT useless. They always put a lot of time into EVERY aspect of the game. UC3 was a perfect example. That campaign was so amazing, and then the multiplayer was taken a step further from 2. ND has got this people. And please, yes I agree that MP has ruined a lot of video games and that is all people want nowadays, but c'mon. MP is NOT that bad. Go play Starhawk. Amazing MP experience.

Just putting Multiplayer on a game like the last of us or a more recent example Tomb Raider, WTF really? A multiplayer mode in a dungeon raiding game dare I say dumb and unneeded? yeah I think so... StarHawk and The Last of Us are two completely different games and cannot be compared, you can compare BF to COD, or even Mass Effect Multiplayer to Uncharted but if you want, but UC still sucks in comparison, I'll be the first to tell you go play Battlefield or if you prefer COD, and leave the rest of us whom like Single player games to remain that way and not turn them into something they are not... Certain games have Multiplayer for a reason and other's don't... DOn't try and be something your not..

@OB_Shah You're trolling right? You've got to be. Because that has never happened to me. Multiplayer always has issues with every game, and Naughty Dog isn't perfect obviously, but their quality is high above everyone else. COD gets praised but it has such bad lag issues EVERY DAY it's stupid. UC2 and 3 had some of the best multiplayer I've played in a while. It was based on a lot of skill, and the maps were well thought out. Even in UC2 where they were mirrored. I liked that, and then they took it to a whole new level in UC3. Sure, it took a while for balance, but it's pretty much amazing. Naughty Dog doesn't do that, and I've seen them on forums replying to people straight on. Especially on the patch pages.
On another note, I think you've just inspired me to start either video reviews or writing reviews and say the exact opposite of what I mean. Because it's all about sarcasm in today's world, yeah? That and ignorance.
@OB_Shah Um, what's so wrong about being a fan? That's the whole point of of the entertainment business is to ultimately get FANS to buy products. I'm not a crazy over the top fan that has a closed off mind to everything else, I have a very open mind about game developers and try not to discriminate. Being a fan is not anything bad, and when did it ever? Because you should talk to some football fans, they are CRAZY.
And I looked up your stories. Most of them are from freaking 2011 in the forums. So nice try. And yes, CoD is playable...but so is Aliens: Colonial Marines. So did Brink, eventually. Every game that has been awful with some sort of multiplayer, the multiplayer does actually...well you know, work. Doesn't mean it's good or worth anything, just that it works. And UC3 works too, so whatever lies you're spreading, you're completely wrong lol.

Uncrated 3 Multiplaye?r Freezes On Start Up, and and thats a fact and there is No patch for it and yes CoD lags,but atleast you can play it online,Unlike Uncharted 3 which freezes up your whole PS3
Uncharted is a good games,but it doesnt mean people have to suck up to it like a ignorant FAN BOY and turn a blind eye to the fact and the problems it have.

Ever since our freaking childhood, and now people decide to bash them for just putting well thought out multiplayer into an industry where we NEED well thought out multiplayer? It's stupid. 1 Like But at least we'll have another worthless multiplayer that I'll try once and never play again. Just like the UC series. Completely worthless on the multiplayer side, epic single player. Games like this don't need multiplayer unless it's co-op or something along those lines. The only people that will really enjoy a tdm or capture the flag type mode in this game are the people that can't play normal fps's.

2 Like I must admit I didn't like Uncharted 3 as much as Uncharted 2. I hope this game will live up to it's name. I don't mind it being delayed.
I agree with Dreizel. I would rather wait a couple of extra weeks and the game be released flawless then have it rushed and inundated with bugs. This should be one worth waiting for. Naughty Dog keep up the great work.

1 Like @chicknfeet I'm actually to the point I'm not sure I can play everything on my shelf. It's shameful shit, really. Haven't even beaten Bioshock (yeh, the first one), only 3 hours into Arkham Asylum (City's still in shrinkwrap), and the only thing I've done with MGS4 is watch the 45 minute intro scene. I need to go be a student again.
@kohle36 @chicknfeet lol It's almost worth taking vacation time just to get your library caught up. MGS4 will probably take you the longest out of all of them to beat, especially considering the length of the cinematics. Man, I haven't played that game in ages. Making me want to pick it up again.
Though it's hard to wait any longer, The Last of Us, just like BioShock Infinite, will be worthy of the longer development time. These two games will be Game of the Year nominees for me.

oh well I Don't mind the Delay tomb Raider comes out next month which looks like another one of the better games for this year....
