Capcom's Yoshinori Ono parries The HotSpot's attempts to get him to rag on Tekken, offering instead insight on how these fighters came together.
Mr. Street Fighter Yoshinori Ono joins The HotSpot for a few rounds (perfecting us, it was pretty impressive). But before that, Maxwell McGee, Tyler Winegarner, Kevin VanOrd, and Tom Magrino reflect back on last week's Consumer Electronics Show and try to make sense of maybe sort-of gaming tablets (aka Razer's Project Fiona), haptic feedback, stupid big TVs, and, of course, underwater technology.
Audio above, video below.
this guy needs to make tekken x street fighter and stop slackin just like tekken 6 came out 6 to 7 years later tekken tag 2 should already been out by now all we have to do is switch japanies to english then release it US
Really enjoyed that interview. The translator said "you know" a damn lot though which you can't un-hear once you realize it.
First off i OWN Street Fighter 4 and Arcade Edition on STEAM, ok paid for it. get over the whole piracy thing..lol..feeling sorry for Capcom's Street Fighter because of Piracy, what a joke..its sold MILLIONS and MILLIONS and MILLIONS of copies that game, since the start.. I love how the media gets behind the corporations and starts making the USER feel guilty and they sound lik ethey feel sorry for Capcom, really?????. If youve sold a million copies of something , a product, i couldnt care less if it gets pirated to sht afterwards. youve made your money, Everything else is JUST a bonus, they should be greatful they even sold a million copies. YOu talking about a MULTIBILLION dollar company...sheesh.. getting rid of Piracy will NOT increase your sales, k? Theres this thing called YIN and YAN, the asians know it well. Yin = A bilion dollar corporation YAN = Piracy, thats how i see it. If these companies were so concerned (how could you be concerned, if you make a billion dollars every year , they wouldnt make games, it would be too risky). Do you think Homefront and THQ is in trouble because of PIRACY? . I dont know ANYONE that owns Homefront, if they do, they dont play it. Pirated or not pirated.
Great show, I loved the interview and you dancing to the Legend of Dragoon music. Keep up the great work and I'll gladly listen each week.
Great show. I loved the interview. I was surprised I recognized that Legend of Dragoon music. It's been forever since I've played.
Im a little surprised they didnt guess the Legend of Dragoon audio, it was one of the greatest rpgs...Well in my opinion.
@WCK619 Oh, god. Excellent point. Prior to switching to Soundcloud, our upload and publishing process was suicide inducing. I'd be one raging panda if that site went away.
@TomM_GScom in your search for a good site SOPA can get shut down, I'm surprised you didn't mention the site you use for the audio-only copy of Hotspot. Soundcloud could easily get taken down for copyright infringement.

LOL Audio trivia is awesome with Magrino. I stepped out of the room with the podcast on and when I came back I just see Magrino dancing LOL!!
SOPA and PIPA, are against our American values. Plus what about the economic problems this would cause the internet is home to millions of jobs.
Enjoyed the interview with Yoshnori Ono. And I'm thinking the reason the HotSpot was late this time was because Magrino edited the video so that we don't have to listen to the Japanese AND the English answers. That was a good idea.
@Kevin-V Hi Kevin! You might have mentioned this in a previous hotspot or a blog entry before but I can't seem to find it. I noticed that you studied in Oberlin, a very prestigious music school. I'm very curious about how you got from there to where you are today. Please share the story as I am sure it is a very interesting one. Thank you! Peter
