@ZackMAck43 I don't think you understood my point. The scenario I brought up was a man recording a movie at the theater and then distributing it. Doing that is illegal regardless of SOPA and PIPA. Buying a DVD and making a digital copy isn't illegal, but if you have to crack or bypass copy protection on the DVD to make your digital copy THAT is illegal, which is why a lot of DVDs and Blurays have a digital copy with them. Basically you can't record in a theater, you can't crack copy protection without breaking laws that are currently in place. My point that you failed to miss is SOPA and PIPA will give the owners of the Intellectual Property recourse to punish everyone, i.e. the person that uploaded it, the site it was uploaded on, the people that downloaded it after. All that can be done without due process, a basic right given to United States citizens. The site and people that downloaded it should be excluded from punishment. It's already illegal to copy movies and games, If you think you have the freedom to copy them, that you have purchased that right... you haven't IF there is copy protection built into the product you bought.

publishers needs to realize that people who pirated their games they don't have money to buy .even if the publishers find a way to block piracy they don't sell more games ,because those pirates will never buy games. not everyone lives in USA,UK,or Scandinavia . those millions who are pirates mostly are people from poor country's and they will never buy. i think leave it as it is,let poor people enjoy free games and rich people buy games . And GOTY skyrim has game breaking bug on a PC like on PS3. When your save file reaches from 15mb-18mb some areas will be not accessible,you will get crash to desktop no fix for that . so only xbox360 version seems to be playable till the end of time. i have played two playtroughts and got that bug both times first after 150h,second after 130h .

Really? I'm the only one excited about Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning? This game looks like it's gonna address all the problems that are in Skyrim. Regarding Sopa I'm thinking about the blurried out review of Zelda Skyward Sword and: "They gave my game a too low score. Shut them down"

:D Love the show as always Disappointed the Vita isn't doing well :/ TW2 had no sort of piracy control at all right? That's really depressing to hear that the legitimate game sales of it are around 1/4th of the pirated copies How would a single player F2P game work? The reason I buy items from the cash shop in Vindictus (An absolutely AMAZING MMO everyone should check out) isn't because I want to max out my DPS, it's for the competitive aspect when I come first in damage output. The only way I could see it working in a singleplayer rpg is if the developer deliberately gives certain content stats that are going to be insurmountable for a non-paying player, which would really make me feel pissed off at the developer. Also, some may disagree on this, but when I purchase a new hairstyle for my character I am doing it because I want to look better compared to everyone else. In a singleplayer game there is no motive to doing this. I think a free to play singleplayer game would be really hard to do successfully.

'empowering' watching and playing the Dark Knight through the sandbox arena of this little part of Gotham. -The vita.. doesn't feel that great.. I'm a Sony fan too, they should consider focusing on move.. As of now, It's pretty accurate as compared to the kinect but has a lot less good games out there.. -With regard to DRMs .. the publishers should think of more smarter methods.. Say a good steam verification.. or a kind of dlc post purchase.. Not involve the govt.. That can get messy.

Yes, SOPA will "cost corporations millions of dollars a year"...but who cares? That's still millions more than anybody else makes and these bastards deserve whatever they get. SOPA is just a way to ensure their control over what is being shown on the internet. Bastards.

You people don't get that the game is good, you kissed it's ass everyday for like two weeks straight once it was released. "The (insert random name)'s guide to (insert random Skyrim thing) it's because of you people and my idiot friends who wouldn't shut the @$%& about it that makes me not want to play the game.

I agree Terraria is a better game than Minecraft in most ways....I just found it more fun and more of a game in general....I do still however love Minecraft

@featheon Yeah, it's a problem. Yes, I am being ignored when I bring up this problem. Right now, the only way to access it from the main page is from the top slot carousel. But once it's out of rotation, it's basically gone. At some point, the Best of 2011 tab at the top will revert back to being Culture, and it will be an option from that menu. As it is, though, the only way to find previous episodes is searching "hotspot." Which, of course, is balls.

Its interesting to see the generation rift between Tom and Chris. I am closer in age to Chris but I too tend to agree with Tom. I too like Sony and don't like the explosion of phone games.

@hojo80 SOPA is wrong on every level, how do you think SOPA works? They can check all of your personal information on your computer, they watch everything you do on your computer so that if you do decide to make or get a copy of a game/movie they can catch you. Really!!!! What about freedom? What about individual rights! And do these guys really deserve to go to jail for this, really? He didnt steal it, He bought it and copied it. Its his!! He bought it, he should be able to do what he wants with it. Than it should be up to you if you want to buy it to support the game/movie maker! Its called freedom!!!

With SOPA I'm of the opinion that the burden of protecting Intellectual Property should lay mostly on the owner of said IP. A bill like SOPA should ONLY give the IPs owners more options to charge pirates only on a civil level, i.e. lawsuits. OR create a sub agency of the United States International Trade Commission to investigate these infringements while still adhering to the basic right we all have to due process. The individual that downloads pirated content may be at fault from a moral stand point but the individual that needs punished is the one that copies and/or cracks this content and releases it. A shady man takes a camcorder into a theater and the next day is handing out burnt DVDs of the movie, you don't arrest all the people that took a copy, you don't shut down the software developer that made the software he edited it with. You arrest the man who stole it and punish him.

Skyrim is like a genius. Geniuses come with genius of course but also serious flaws and quirks.

Tom (McShea), Halo 1 and 2 were Xbox and Halo 3 was Xbox 360. so they can release 2 on each platform, I guess (of course ignoring the idea of trilogies completely). not that I agree it should be done, of course. ;)

Skyrim is not that great, just a typical glitch filled Bethesda game. No game that has as many glitches and freezing and lag issues should be GOTY when games like Uncharted 3 have FAR less problems.
