Welcome to episode one of The Controller; meet the contestants, learn the rules, and watch one pair get shut down in the first elimination challenge.
Friday is here at last, and that means it's time for the premiere episode of The Controller. Friendships will be made, dreams will be shattered, and at least one person will get shot. It's madness right out of the gate. First up, we put our professional gamers through a grueling (and messy) obstacle course. Immediately after that, our noobs are ushered into their first hands-on session with Battlefield 3. Once the pros have had a chance to size up the noobs, teams will be formed. And then it's off to our first elimination challenge. That's right, we don't mess around on The Controller. They may have just arrived, but one team will be turning around and walking right back out again. See it all for yourself in the video below.

This is one of the most appalling things I have ever seen. All these overacting self important people in this show make me want to vomit. This is typical American dumbed down TV. I really think this show will actually make you retarded if you manage to watch all of it. What a bloody tragedy. Or is it all just one big pisstake and I am missing the joke? Please for the sake of humanity I hope it is.

Umm, GameSpot, instead of uploading this to YouTube where it's not available to Europeans, why not, you know, upload it to the site you already own where everyone can see it? It's this little website called GameSpot.com.

i love people who think just cause they play pc pc is better.. sorry but they just like playing on that system, plus dont want viruses and such not. go on a console and see how a pc gamer fairs.. its just their console so i do think they are pros :P.. get off their case and go play on a pc.. as for the video itself i cannot wait til 12 tonight w00t.. we gunna be killing um

Have to agree with both, if you're looking for who can push a button the best, you're looking at the wrong system, not to mention the sheer number who were rejected because their appearance wasn't as 'TV friendly' - Meaning they were fat and even uglier than these guys. Though I do find even the idea of a 'Professional' gamer absolutely ridiculous...Enjoy amounting to nothing in life.

I thought it was really bad, but once i watched it it was kind of interesting. Anyway i don't think ill watch the other episodes as i hate reality shows :)

Reality TV? Not even gunna bother watching. I hate reality TV and wish it would disappear forever. "We ran out of ideas to make good, quality television so let's just record and air a bunch of stupid crap that wouldn't normally have been aired." Hmp...
