Test Drive Unlimited 2 getting free DLC

it is out!!! but who cares anymore? the game sucks

Well if you have any Atari Tokens to spend,They released the Special Bonus cars today that came with the certain TDU2 game providers like Best Buy Gamestop, Steam,Wal-Mart,Target and others. They are in the TDU2 Store at 80 tokens a car. When you purchase them for those who didn't know they will be in the used car dealership in the game after purchase. If it's full it won't show up until you buy some of the cars out of there! Ok have fun and watch out for the rammers!

I read in the TDU2 Forum by one of the forum Mods the DLC will most likely be released around mid April. But I guess i am ungreatful as think only 2 cars (69 Dodge Charger and Lancia Stratos) is kind of skimpy.And these will be Treasure Hunt Cars. But I guess something is better than nothing. i would rather them mod the 1st TDU Car Pack to be able to use that in TDU2. But other than that I haven't had to much trouble in the game itself. really enjoying this much better than any Need For Speed game EA can come out with! Also they will be making available for purchase the Bonus cars that came with each individual Game sellers version on the Test Drive Unlimited 2 Website in the DLC page probably this Month as well.

where is the "compensation" dlc? they announced it on feb 24 and we are past march 24 already...

I have love this game... say what you want, but for me ( and I only play PC games ) this one of the best car games we have on the market.. it combines multiplayer with single player like I've never seen! Rock on Atari

I had backed up my "corrupted" save game. and after applying the patch, it loaded it without any issue. thank you TDU2 ! (on Xbox360)

@benz1980i If It's on PSN or Live, some is not free!! because that money goes to Sony / Microsoft for royalty purpose!! not goes to Atari.

Funny thing there is DLC on PSN right now for an amazing FREE yet only $12.95....meaning it isn't free

well iv stuck with it for 2 weeks now, and in that entire time i have never once been able to access any of the online features, these promises of fixes 'coming soon' ever since launch day have kept me going but im trully sick of it now, i will give them one last chance cause the game has the potential to be brilliant, but if this patch does not fix the problems then i will be selling the game........

I sincerely hope the patch arrives before the weekend. I'm a little tired of half the game being unplayable having purchased it 2 weeks ago through pre-order.

2 weeks since launch and the online side has barely worked at all. Still waiting on a patch to fix it which has been "coming soon" since the bugs were found on launch day. No ability to sell cars is being treated as a design feature rather than a bug, so will not be addressed in this patch despite the community calling out for it. Daft decision to get rid of the marketplace from TDU1. The racing, cars and game world are all good fun, and once properly fixed and patched this game will be good, but this has had a truly awful launch.

yeah, its better than unlocking content ON DISC... like the previous "so called" download content. all those cars were on the disc but instead of paying 60 we paid 50. stay away from d/l of 108.00KB.. how can a d/l be such a small amount????

Good news. I like stories like this where publishers/developers realize their mistakes and give away a thank you gift for loyal fans.

@H_U_R_D Glad i am not the only one who has noticed that! Other than the above i am more than happy with TDU2! love it! And giving away DLC is what ALL games developers should do as standard considering we pay 40pound for a game!!!

how about fixing the ability to sell cars? maybe add in the marketplace that was in the first TDU maybe??

Nice job Atari. Thats a nice gesture. The game is awesome but yeah, it did have some rough start to it. It's good to know that you appreciate the gamers. Keep up the good work. ps: some lambo would be a nice against ferarri :P
