Telltale Games teases more characters on Vine

Latest Vine teasers shows Russell; season two is due to resume in Q3 this year.

Earlier this week, Telltale Games posted a Vine showing what many believe to be new characters from The Walking Dead.

Now, the developer has followed up with another cryptic sequence. Labelled “Day 184”, this latest update focuses on a young man in a graduation outfit; the name Russell is shown. Another face appears with text alongside, reading “missing”.

Telltale Games has confirmed its plans to release the second season of the episodic adventure game in the third quarter of this year. Game writer Gary Whitta previously suggested the possibility of bridging the gap between its first and second season with additional content.

"Knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead…there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two," Whitta said in an earlier interview.

As well as a second season of The Walking Dead, Telltale Games is also currently developing The Wolf Among Us.

I hope they develop the game play a bit more.  I know that it's supposed to be all point-and-click like old-school games but by the fifth episode I was getting a bit tired of the process and was hoping for more.  The main thing that kept me going was the story.  Love the comics.  Love the show.  Wishing I could love the game.

I hate Vine.

Before Vine, you could at least get a 30 second teaser trailer to something. Now everyone is doing these six second teasers that tell nothing, do nothing. Where are the actual 30 second - 2:30 minutes trailers?

On the other hand, I'm playing this from day 1. TWD ended up in a very abrupt note (yes, there was some closure but I was expecting to meet some characters again and the end scene with Clementine) but it was one of the best games ever played.

@manutdarsenal You do know that the games follows the COMIC continuity rather than the TV show? There are some rather key differences between the two.

Further... while the Hershel and Glenn cameos were cool, we've got a story for those characters. I like how they focus on different people and different places.
