Super Street Fighter IV ships 1 million, series ships 29 million

@ lanmanna it plain and boring for you it fun for me and that all that matter. News flash people have different opinions , wow shocker -_-. And yes the fact that i just wanted to play with a bunch friends with out having to a new room everytime is really stupid, considering the fact that Street fighter HD remix and MvC2 had it. Then to pony up 40 more bucks to do just that it really stupid in my opinion , maybe not for you , but it is for me. Thank you.

@Darkside7972 oh you mean those Cartridges that where bigger than my hand and that cost like $200 each, please boy let me give you a hint don't assume nothing you just setting your self up to look stupid. And i really don't give two hoots if you know more than me about fighting games i am just here to voice my opinion , don't like it ignore please some people say it bliss -_-. So why don't you quit while your ahead i am not here to change the mind of you Capcom lemmings, just giving my two cents like I said.

@TrueIori: No, instead of "double-dipping," SNK pumped out dozens of forgettable fighters all throughout the 90's while trying to capture the glory of SF2, then somehow became worse when they were acquired by Playmore. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about though, since I doubt you were out of diapers back then. Judging from your posts, I know a lot more about fighting games than you. Quit while you are behind.

Just arrived this morning. Its bleddy good fun! Yes I suck at it (3 online losses, 2 wins) but still, we should all be playing it!

The fact that all the characters are there from the get go saves me time to do other things such as study for my last exam in two days that will determine whether I get my Bachelors or not. Hahahaha

what sucks is that in the states SSF4 is selling at a lower retail price of around $40 right? over here in Australia its selling for $80, which is about $70US. huh?!

@ TrueIori Game doesn't have a lobby? Have you even PLAYED the game? I would rather take a game without a lobby that is fun and addictive than that crud that was KoF12. It didn't have a story and the fighting was lame and just plain boring.

Slightly unhappy that I bought SFIV at launch and not waited to get SSFIV...... but still I'm very happy Capcom is kicking arse

TvC a couple of months ago, and now SSFIV. Capcom is on a roll with fighting games! Next up, MvC 3, and hopefully a new Darkstalkers! BTW, that has to be the longest "related games" list on the sidebar EVER!

Ive got SF4 and i probally would of got this but capcom made a mistake and told the world about MvsC3 so I'm gonna wait for that cause it's gonna blow SSF4 out of the water. Unless ofc they release the updates as DLC

i don't know if it is just me but seth does not seem half as annoying in ssf4 which is good because that character ruined the original sf4. but yes super street fighter 4 rocks and what rocks even more is the fact i only paid £19.71 for it from asda

@Darkside7972 Me bitter ? never but Say what you will about KOF12 ,at least Snk does not have the history of trying to double dip gamers like Crapcom does and if you don't believe me look to the left of your screen good sir. Really no Lobby mode in Sf4 ? That like a no-brainier for fighting games and now they want me to pony up 40 more bucks for "new modes" ? Yeah capcom can go suck a fat one.

The piece of news that I am eagerly awaiting for is an announcement on the PC version of Super Street Fighter IV. It's too lucrative for CAPCOM to pass up on.

I owned Street Fighter IV (PS3) but, had to sell it. I am VERY happy with Super Street Fighter IV (PS3) and there really is much to be had with all the additional content (new characters, stages, and modes) and all of that for $40.00?! SOLD!

so it's actually a $150 game with all the previous dlc and the new stuff...what a bargain!!! to top off the awesomeness, i just noticed that the bonus contsumes that came with the original collector's edition didn't transfer...that is so badass! love getting scammed out of money!

@Venom_injektion The figure would be about the same. When units are shipped, it's because there was enough pre-orders and demand to warrant making that many. You can bet that units sold are only a few hundred thousand behind. Thats why it makes the news, because regardless it is a feat.

I lost count on how many street figther game there are. And it's silly all the hyped this games creates on most of you. SF4 was just released barely last year and now this one. Come on!!!, be smart. at the end you guys will end up using the original figters (ryu, ken, guile, etc...).

i wanna get this cuz i mean cmon its 40 bucks? thats a steal, and i never had street fighter 4 cuz i assumed they might do something like this... so this game is like perfect for me! but i hope i dont get owned online like i do on street fighter 2 on xbox live XD

They know they should have kept Indestructible as the theme song or something just as good. Super Street Fighter IV is by far the best fighting game i ever played. Big ups to Juri and Dee Jay.

For those who don't know, super street fighter 4 is way more different from Sf4. One example is that combos and damage has changed and is more balanced. So if you play SF4 and go over to ssf4 don't be surprise that your not winning. The longer you wait to get SSF4 the better for those who purchase SSF4 will get. Don't practice on SF4 its foolish... GO GET SUPER TODAY!

The "surprise" was just 2 extra colors for every character if you had the previous game save data. I'm surprised, someone actually thought it was going to be something BIG (lol).

Who cares how much they shipped? I think an article about the game sales would be better. Too bad i got the first Street fighter IV.....i wont get Super Street Fighter because of that.' Whatever happened to that "surprise" for the people who did buy the first SFIV and then bought SSFIV?

Got my copy and the Standard Edition Fightstick since it's now $20 cheaper.

I need to get a copy asap...got my gamestop 20 card, so just 20 more bucks. You know, I actually sat in a focus group at Capcom relating to this game and what can be done to make it better, etc. Im glad to see that they listened to us and tweaked the balance, etc. This game is sure fire hit!
