you could have bought it on playasia.com they can get any video game that releases in japan before here just sometimes no subtitles obviously but I bought my white ps3 and it is sick so this might just be awesome ^^

I don't realy care much about the color I still wanna get it. I have an 80 gig ps3 so i'll be upgrading and i'll be getinng FF XIII with the bundle so I see it as a win win.

I'll probably going to be labelled as a feminist for saying this, but it's about time that there's a female main protagonist in Final Fantasy. There hasn't been one since Final Fantasy VI. X-2 doesn't count!

male or female, im pretty sure everyone or most are in it for a good story line and gameplay. You would rather be watching a male haha

I wonder if anyone has realized it yet... XIII is marketed towards females. Somewhere along the line they realized X2 and their female audience earned more money and thus are pushing it further. It sucks for the dudes who only like playing dudes, we are going to see a much more female focused Final Fantasy direction as time goes on.

It's just under £290, of which I could: a) Pay off some of my car insurance b) pay off some of my student loan or c) use the money to book next year's Download 2010 metal music festival, camping and lots of alcohol.

Haha, we allready get metallic blue and Deep Red dualshock 3 in the US. Gamestop allready has them on sale, i dunno who else though, but they are 55 here and 61 in Japan, so it's not all bad for us :D but that is still a really expensive controller

Already own a 360 and Wii and waiting to get a PS3 down the line, pending the job market. I hope this PS3 comes to the US and if its not too expensive, I might pick it up. Pink graphic or not, I think it looks pretty cool.

That white PS3 looks clean and slick even with the splash of pepto bismol on it

The 250GB is nice, but what is with the pink graphic? The black is more appropriate for the home theater and stereo cabinet where the machine will likely be placed. What about a DVR function to take advantage of the 250GB space? Now that would be a great feature.

@Rev8691 I didn't buy it for a PS2 I bought it because my PS2 broke right before PS3 came out I have 12 PS3 games and 15 PS2 games I play PS3 games I love them and I love all the features that the PS3 has (I have a 320GB HDD and a 1TB external) I'm just saying at the launch of the PS3 if it didn't have full BC like it did I more than likely would've saved my money and bought a PS2. Which means the PS2 included sealed the deal. I'm not alone every I know with a 60GB PS3 did the same...

...and I thought the Comics have failed, until Shonen Jump came to the rescue!!!!!! Well, at least FFXIII looks SSA!!!! Luckily, I haven't bought a PS3 Slim Yet!

does eBay japan exist?

I think that Sony puts these out in Japan only for a few reasons. (1) They are a Japanese Company, so they save on shipping to other countries (2) These series are more popular in Japan, which will trigger better sales (3) It's easier to manufacture 600,000 of these PS3's for Japan, then to manufacture 3 million for US/Canada/UK. Those are just guestimations, but the point is that there is a smaller population in Japan that is easier to meet demand. At least that's my assumption. ------------------------------- I would really like a White PS3, though. I like how it looks, even without the graphic. _
