Sonic Rivals returns to PSP

If they put Rouge in this I'll buy it.. otherwise I'll do with this what I did with the first one, ignore it and pretend it dun even exist! "fan-favorite Tails"? Unfunniest joke I've heard all week..

Sonic Rivals was great, personally, and im glad to see another one. Id also love to see another Sonic Adventure game, Ive spent many a night playing the same level over and over again to get my time down. Sonic owns, even now where the quality has lessened I still think the majority of Sonic games are great.

The first one was mediocre. Hopefully this one will have improvements.

they should just make a 2D one. Hi-res sprites, you will be able to get from the PSP, and wide stages as well.

Please let this be the game that finally brings Sonic his glory back. At one time he rivaled Mario, but now he's stuck in mediocre games that do nothing for him.

Say, Mr. Jeffrey...how's that "hiatus" with Sonic coming along? He probably meant it for console Sonics, but even so, the milking continues. Though I may be a Sonic fan, I'm pretty apathetic towards this one. And to all idiots who whine that Sonic should star in nothing but 2D sidescrolling platformers: Shut up. SHUT THE !@#$ UP! awesome... Sonic Rivals has been the best Son ic game for a long, long time- its the most true to the spirit of the original games. A sequel is great news!

Never liked playing Sonic. Not much to it. Run fast and collect rings.

A port of Sonic Adventure 2 would make me happy. My favorite game off all time. The only reason I won't buy rivals is because its a racer, I have nothing against racing games I just want to be able to explore a little.

-Squirrel-, you should really check out Sonic Rush for the DS. I haven't played such an awesome 2D Sonic game since Sonic and Knuckles for the Sega Genesis and the music is absolutely amazing (in fact, that's why I got it; Hideki Naganuma is a beast). Please please please get it.

Hmm...I've been holding off on Sonic Rivals utnil it is around 5 bucks. If the sequel turns out to be somewhat acceptable (no Tails in part 1?! what the heck?) then I think I may just get that at full price. I need another game to add to my very limited PSP library anyway.

I have put off buying Sonic Rush for the DS, but I guess I probably need to pick it up before Sonic Rush Adventure comes out. Not really looking forward to Sonic Rivals tho.

I wish the Sonic Team would made a True 3D literation for PSP...

Man I hope this game is better, SEGA should deley it for a year because of the tons of glitches it will have if they spend only like 4 more months on the game... I hope that this isn't just a remake rip off of the orginal which owned... The game that they should remake is sonic the hedgehog for PS3 and xbox 360 because it had alot of potential and good level design... it shouldn't have the plot that went noware though... and a manual that actually said what items are in the game... that menu had a regular shield in it! that never appeared in the game! they should also redo the glitches.

I don't care, it will suck, no doubt about it. Sega just doesn't care about making good games anymore. They are just making Sega games to try to make a few bucks off the sad, lifeless fanboys.

Awsome! I actually liked Sonic Rivals, and a spiffy-ed up sequel will be welcome! To bad non of the console games can do justice to our once-beloved mascot.

I've absolutely hated most of the Sonic games in recent memory. Sega has made good Sonic games before, why is it so hard for them to find a winning formula now?! I'd love to see Sonic on the Xbox 360 in a game that's not just "good", but "excellent". I'm not going to hold my breath for it, though.

I actually like rivals on the psp. It has some gameplay flaws and is short as hell but it IS fun. Looking forward to a sequel

Sonic Adventure 1+2 were good. Just since then Sonic Team have gotten lazy with the 3D games.

This is where Sonic should stay.Keep Sonic in the 2D realm.When Sonic made the jump to 3D it wasn't the same.I would like to see a Hi Def Sonic on the 360 but just keep a 2D sidescroller.
