I was watching E3 on my satellite and i was very very very overjoyed to hear that another Sly was coming.... now i dont know about any of you guys but Sly is DA BOMB!!!!!!!!
Sly Cooper 4 on its way?
YouTube video shows what appears to be a trailer for a fourth instalment in the Sony franchise; user apparently stumbled upon trailer after finishing off all the trophies in Sly Cooper Collection for the PS3.

What we heard: During the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June this year, Sony unveiled the Sly Collection, a remastered version of three Sly Cooper titles for the PS3. The original series of stealth platforming games featuring a thieving raccoon were developed for the PS2 by Sucker Punch Productions.
In October, Sony released further details about the collection, announcing it would ship in North America on November 9 and include updated versions of the three original Sly Cooper titles--Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves--remastered with 720p visuals, as well as 3D support, trophy incorporation, and a range of PlayStation Move-enabled minigames.
Now, it appears Sucker Punch's plans for the series extend beyond the high-def compilation. YouTube user "tatermoog" posted a clip on the site allegedly showing a teaser trailer for Sly Cooper 4 embedded into the recently released Sly Cooper Collection. According to his post on YouTube under the video, "tatermoog" found the trailer after finishing off all the trophies in the collection. He used his own video camera to record the trailer and post it on YouTube. The trailer ends with a Sly 4 logo and a question mark underneath it.
The official story: Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCEA) acknowledged that the matter was purely speculative for the moment, and thus declined to provide an official comment.
Bogus or not bogus?: Probably not bogus. Sucker Punch's Brian Fleming has previously stated in interviews that the return of Sly is something that will be likely to happen. Sucker Punch has also teased a fourth installment in its last game, Infamous, with movie marquees in Empire City listing "Sly Cooper 4."

I'm 75% sure that this game is gonna be on the PS3. Why the hell would they put it on a last generation console? But everyone who has played a sly game, (I played and completed all three) or Infamous should know this is coming and it's gonna be more badass than ever before.

finally! Sly Cooper is one of my favorite franchises. All the fans are so pumped. As I am.
A fourth Sly game is a good idea! This will make the fans happy! This should be on the PSP and PS3. Too bad it can't be on PS2, Playstation 2 will be over with in 2011. (Sadly)
@Capt_johnt No, there won't be lots of trouble, since most people would prefer Sly 4 to be on the PS3.
I only have a ps2 they better change their minds and also have it on ps2. If they don't there will be trouble lots of it. I just added this I posted already I got a ps3 so when sly 4 comes out I am ready.

OH MY GOD!!! Yes!!! If Sly 4 is real I think I would shed tears of joy giving new meaning to cry me a river. I would knock down an old grandma to buy this game!

Definitely looking forward to this. Ratchet & Clank is a series that won't see an end any time soon, which I'm happy about, and Jak & Daxter had X, Daxter, and The Lost Frontier. An official continuation to Sly Cooper would be amazing. Now I hope we can get PS3 Collections for Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank. Ratchet & Clank of the three series, so I'd like to see that first.
Sucker Punch, THANK YOU. Ratchet, Jak and Sly were the best platformers on the PS2. Now all we need is a Jak 4, and possibly Ratchet/Jak HD Collections.
The best news I have heard. My favorite series on the PS2 and once again thanks Sucker Punch.
1) This guy that has the platinums has no life, thE game JUST CAME OUT! 2) My hopes of a Jak and Ratchet HD collection are starting to come into fruituition. :)

This is the tipping point. I have been on edge about buying a PS3 but if this comes out, there is no doubt im getting one.
Its a long way off yet I'd imagine, but it's also the only reason I'd consider getting a PS3
FINALLY, been waiting all these dang years. Wasn't really satisfied with sly 3's ending. IF it's fake someone had WAAAAAY to much time on there hands to make it look SUPER LEGIT. The person deserves a standing ovation, BUT...... We all know it's legit lol.
I just watched the video and I can definitely say that it's legit. Sly 4 is actually coming...wow...
