I just played the PS Vita demo last night and it wasn't bad. I like some of the game mechanics and I think BOH can be better than what most people think.
Silent Hill: Book of Memories delayed

Konami pushes WayForward's new PlayStation Vita game indefinitely; retailers suggest either April or May debut.
The PlayStation Vita game Silent Hill: Book of Memories will not be available for purchase on its previously announced March 27 release date, as Konami has delayed the game.
A Konami representative told Ripten, "Unfortunately Book of Memories has been delayed." No rationale for the delay was provided, and as of press time, Konami had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment.
Though Konami has not offered a new release date for Book of Memories, retailers indicate the game will ship in either April or May. A listing at Best Buy points to an April 15 release, and Amazon and GameFly indicate the game will ship on May 31.
Silent Hill: Book of Memories was announced at the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo and is in development at WayForward Technologies. For more on the title, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.

I feel sorry for you konami, it dosnt matter how many SH you create. Cuz you'll never gonna do one like SH2 again.
So more or less it leached off of the iconic characters, and trashed everything else that made Silent Hill Silent Hill?
delayed silent hill game news is not new anymore I knew this will happen, if it ever comes out I will get, looks like a creepy untold legends and brings me back to the psp launch
No matter how much coverage GS makes about any game: they can't guarantee nothing before the release. This frenzy over every single launch is so silly...
Lately SH games are getting delayed constantly... Not that I was waiting for this "thing" and, although I'm still a SH fan, really, since SH3 nothing was worth the trouble...
Good. The game looks like crap. Don't ever release it and do Silent Hill and its fans a favour.
Resident Evil goes CoD, but wrong (well, wrong and not even proffitable), and Silent Hill goes... Baldur's Gate? I'm sad, my brother used to like both series when they were survival horrors.
Silent Hill is deeead! Let it die guys come on. Haven't you realized you don't know how to make one so stop embarrassing yourselves. If the original Devs didn?t want to do it anymore maybe you should take the hint and just accept that it?s over! *gaaasps*
They must have read how NOT excited for this title SH fans really are. It isn't a Silent Hill game. Publishers, please stop using a franchise's once good name to pawn off your lackluster stuff.
I don't think I've ever seen a game get delayed this close to retail release. Never a good sign. This series has been plagued by mediocrity for a while now. Hopefully, some studio will come along and Batman ArkAsylum it one day.
judging by the swarm of comments on this page, people must really still care about this series after how badly it's been butchered....
