Hmm...i think its time to bust my rouge out of retirment quicker then Hulk Hogan at an upcoming wrestlemania.

World at War for meeeeeeee! I suppose i dont mind the WWII setting done with the COD4 format, least you know its high quality! But i'm hoping now they'll end with the WW2 and move on with Modern or Futuristic settings, Battlefield 2142 was a cool game, I'm sure the COD series can do something as good or better!

"In a year full of legitimate challengers..." Now there's a load of crock. AC was a woefully unprepared Beta test upon release. Far too many review sites, Gamespot included, rated it based upon potential not upon actual existing performance of product. One legitimate contender does not a "year full" make. WAR was the sole legit challenger to WoW this year, yet so far, it is only a partial challenge, only in the area of PvP, (where it indeed does well, when serve balance and population are all in line) absurd claims by developers notwithstanding. As I've said before, it's ridiculous for AC and WAR to have the same rating. For those who say that WoW didn't have PvP fully implemented upon its release, quite true. However, WAR knew where the bar had been set by WoW, and makes absurd claims that about the PvE elements of WAR. I see the usual population of of WoW bashers is out in force. Sorry boys and girls, but WoW remains # 1 for a very good reason, and WotLK will likely continue that dominance.

Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Guitar Hero World Tour, Rock Band 2, Call of Duty World at War...all rehashes. What makes WofLK any different? WotLK, maybe CoD:WaT, and Mirror's Edge are looking good...

I have two friends who will be getting the WoW expansion at midnight. Myself, I'm sticking with CoD5, B&K: Nuts and Bolts, and the WWE game.

Cmon Gamespot... why do you have to continue the lies about the Mirror's Edge PC release date??? EA screwed over PC gamers and it was delayed back to January 2009 so they can get cash from the console sales. Get your damn facts straight!

Now this is what is sad, there are some good Wii games mixed in there, but everyone over looks them because most of this weeks releases are shovelware. Come on Devs....My stop smoking coach and Monkey mischief, i feel bad for anyone who buys these games.

I think WotLK is not going to be so huge as BC, because there are so many other great games available now that aren't a rehash of old material.

WOTL is going to bring the servers down to their knees. I remember when BC came out, took awhile to get back up and running smoothly. Maybe give it a week or two.

parmjit you are definitely welcome to your opinion and it is great you get outside. But you would get your point across better if you also went to school. Grammar and spelling do not seem to be strong suits for you. As for WoW I do agree people spend too much time playing games of its ilk. As long as it isn't destructive so be it. That is their decision.

Parmjit, if your life was at all that exciting, you wouldn't feel validated by posting about it on GameSpot.

man i hate warcraft $H!T its so g ay how ppl sit at home on the computer and jus play for the whole day i always go outside with my friends and i come bak and chill to videogames i dont waste my time on warcraft games should b only played for a little while but not the whole day if you ask me society is getting soft ppl are fatter (65%) and they are losers who dont want 2 get fresh air anyone who reads this jus go outside or go snowboarding like me in the winter time its way better snowboarding then playing shaun white or ssx the world isnt as tough as it used to be because of all those lames who have no life and play warcraft

World at War and Mirror's Edge are both on my list for early next year catch up. Other then that, this week is empty. *Ignores the life sucking, time wasting obsession, not game, that is World of Warcraft*

Man, Fall season is always a beast for gamers. Mirror's Edge and Tales of Symphonia 2 are the top ones on my list though if I could, there'd be at least 6 or 7 games on that list I'd like to buy.

For me most of the great games in 08 are out already so its all good but, I am looking forward to Mirrors Edge!

Woot! Bring on The Lich King!! Between that, Gears2 and BK:N&B I'll be set for this holiday. I'll be picking up Fallout 3 probably next month, and no Fable2 here. The first was ok, the second looks like more of the same. I'll pass.

@charlie - EA made most of their profit in the last quarter from the PS3. Anyways, I'm happy with how EA are improving themselves by releasing all of these amazing titles. Since I (and I'm guessing alot of ther people) have too little money for all of these games, the rental shop will be a good friend of mine in the coming months.

i say Wrath sells 10 bazillion copies. That's right: 10 Bazillion.

i dont think they will have a stronger showing then BC. I know this cause 3 malls that r nearest to me r not opening up at midnight due to the malls owners not wanting ppl in the mall after hours and if ur like me i have to work so wont be able to pick it up till my days off bummer!

i wish companies like EA would stop wasting thier time developing for ps3... just stick to xbox and pc so you can flesh out better quality in your games. I mean the two supperior platforms constitute like 80+% of sales anyway... And you'd prolly make that up if your game got better reviews. Its win win for everyone... except sony, but who cares.
