Shippin' Out Nov. 6-12: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim

Can't wait for Skyrim to be released in a few hours. Will be picking it up here in NZ and then heading straight to the mountains to lock myself away for days. Been playing Elder Scrolls since the beginning. Hope everyone else enjoys it too.

Very much looking forward to Skyrim,were on the eve of escaping reality for some time and by the time we finish BF4 and MW4 may be out?

For me this is very.... very simple........ 11.11.11

The only games on this list that I'll play are LA Noire for PC... and Skyrim. 55 hours until I will have my hands on the masterpiece. I'll play MW3 for the story(which I always enjoyed), and maybe the spec ops. It will have to wait 6 months though.

Cave Story 3DS. Finally a decent game for the 3DS. Although it is still a remake of a game you can play free on PC but still, should be fun. The dime a dozen FPS games are getting really old.

Skyrim will be worth the wait, and it "ll be sweet to revisit Metal Gear Solid. "cough,cough" sorry boss, need a few days off.

MW 3, MGS HD, Skyrim, Lego HP, Mario Land, and Assassin's Creed in an 8 day stretch. Plus Zelda 5 days later. That is both one of the most epic and most painful release periods ever.

Skyrim for me! It's the only game will be playing this week.

SKYRIM !! I've been counting down ever since the announcement came out. Long pre-ordered the game. TGIF - Thank God It's Friday will take on an entirely new meaning.

just completed uncharted 3, so MW3 tues., Skyrim fri., and super mario 3d land on sunday...oh, the life of a gamer..the wife is really not gonna be happy with me over the new few months ;-)

Should be some interesting offline Co-op on MW3 but the genre of realistic shooter is getting a little old imo. That one could well be a candidate for January sales.

The wait for Skyrim has to be the hardest wait in a long time. Especially the last 2 weeks. So glad it's finally gonna be here and i even got the weekend off to play it!:D

Activision can keep it's product. Skyrim on the otherhand . . . is like "Oh baby where have you been in my life" moment. Can't wait.

It's funny how nearly ten years to the day, I'm still excited to buy Metal Gear Solid 2.

Well, it's time to start using some vacation time. I already told my wife as soon as these two come out our relationship will be on hold for a little. I'm glad she took it as a joke.

Were the preorder numbers for MW3 lower than expected? Where are the articles gloating about it like we had with BF3?

The week I've been waiting for all year - MW3 and Skyrim. Heck yes.

wtf apparently nobody knows what Zelda is anymore. ppl are too preoccupied giving more money for Call of Duty so they can keep milking the series

I'm getting both. My most anticipated week of the year =]

I am going to get both MW3 and Skyrim. I am more excited for Skyrim, heck, my big three for this year are Uncharted 3(already got, already beaten) Skyrim and Skyward Sword. MW3 I am getting because to be honest I have greatly enjoyed the campaigns in the MW games. There have been some very visceral moments. As for the MP we will wait and see if the MP Is better balanced and different than in previous games(not holding my breath on the latter though). I do prefer Battlefield for my Military FPS multiplayer action, but MW does Campaigns better. None the less, I am really waiting for Skyrim this week, and Chrono Cross to the PSN FTW.

I'm really surprised there hasn't been an early review of Skyrim or Call of Duty in here. Or even Assassins Creed, one of the reviewers had already said he finished AC:revelations about a week ago.

Well skyrm should be no1 why. Because they spend a lot money on this and mw3 didnt spend enough same thing over again. if pp dont buy skyrm enough they can lose a lot mony sriously.

When i opened my bag of sliced bread today i noticed it's expiration date was 11.11.11. I guess it knew that's when my social life expires if my PC can handle Skyrim :P.

I will pick MW3 after finishing BT3 and Uncharted 3 and then back once again and finish once again MGS games for the 4th time lol

Why are they saying that MW3 is 'going up against' Skyrim in places...they are vastly different games that aren't even in competition, gamers do know the difference between RPGs and FPSs... Also is there any doubt that MW3 will beat BF3 in sales? BF3 didn't even beat MW2 and the general FPS gaming masses prefer Arcadey reward driven fun to more tactical realism that is slower paced.

MGS HD doesn't even come out this year in Europe.

Nice. I'll be going straight from the amazing Dark Souls to the amazing Skyrim. Life is not complete without wielding a sword every day.

It's a shame that a game like Skyrim, which has taken years of hard work to craft and create a massive new game world, will be engulfed in sales by a copy and paste job of a stale shooter.

Oh yes!! And I'm off work on the right week!! Gotta love when stuff like that works out
